works great, added some details for the users struggling to get it to give good results
The 51mm 3ear fits my spacekey espresso maker perfect. There are 2 things to help avoid problems that took a little while to work out, mostly not caused by this basket, but that the basket brought out in other tools I was using.1. Use a 51mm paper at the bottom, this absorbs the cafestrol and also stops the shooting sideways streams when overtamped or too much pressure. A puck screen on top seemed to make it shoot out too fast.2. My cuisinart grinder has 18 fine-ness settings, even the finest was not fine enough. Different doses/grinds/tamping/grind distribution tools did not seem to help. If you make espresso from an inexpensive espresso machine like myself, (and it seems to always come out super watery with this basket), then try getting the espresso powder from a budget german grocery chain that comes in a vacuum sealed cube pre-ground. That stuff is even finer than my grinder, and once I tried with that I got the correct crema and pressure from my machine. Now I just need to get a better grinder or find decaf peurto-rican coffee. The hint this was the case is all my beans made great pour over, so I didn't think it was them, and the pressurized basket that came with my machine seemed to make ok espresso if super packed in there, and a large number of attempts at diffent coffee masses/grind size did not help get any crema. See attached comparison, it should be super super fine. Both powders work with pressurized portafilter that originally came with my machine, but the super super fine one works best with this one.The puck also comes out way better than the pressurized basket making it easy to clean. The box art had a 2-ear printed on the front, but the inside matched perfectly to what I ordered.

Espresso Machine
Great budget portafilter. Works on the chefman espresso machine from Walmart (it’s the same one as the Aldi espresso machine that James Hoffmann reviews)

This is it! No leaks and great looks for a reasonable price.
It fits my Mattinata like a glove! No leaks or spurts... finally!Quick backstory:I was gifted an espresso maker by the brand Mattinata, which is nearly a copy of the CasaBrews machine. I got a fancy Normcore basket, but it didn’t fit the portafilter that came with my machine. So began my journey to find a portafilter that actually fit both the basket and my machine—not an easy task.Overview:I noticed a significant difference in the sheen of my Normcore basket compared to the metal of the portafilter from my original machine. This portafilter, however, matches the same level of sheen and quality. It was the cheapest 51mm 3-prong portafilter I found that explicitly stated the prong thickness. While my priority was functionality, I was thrilled that it also looks great, especially for the price. It fits snugly. I have to use a little extra muscle compared to the old one, but it doesn’t feel overly tight. Instead, it gives the sense of a better seal.-Overall:If you need a bottomless portafilter for your 51mm budget-friendly espresso maker, this is the one you’re looking for.-CAPFEI, if you’re reading this...Please make this same style portafilter in a version that can lay flat. My only minor gripe is that it wobbles unless I’m holding it while filling or placing a rag underneath.

doesnt work with my casbrews CM5418
I tried it once and it spewed and sputtered, left a bunch of water in the puck then i tried it with no coffee and it did the same. So adjusting grind size wasnt going to do anything. Maybe the holes are machined inconsistently or however they are made. i have no idea.

Fits Farberware 553015 20 bar machine (edit: and also Farberware FW61100042872)
The media could not be loaded. Got this to modify and experiment with a Farberware 553015 which is a gavi based 20 bar machine and it fits perfectly with no sealing issues, just need to dial in the coffee amount to fit the machines pre determined pull time (going to see if i can mod the machine to see if i can tweak that sometime, maybe even a manual pull mod) but so far it's working well with only issues arising from my rusty puck prep skills (check out James Hoffman's vids on youtube, they are quite handy for learning from.) but so far it's doing great. I do suggest getting a second set of portafilter baskets (single and/or double) if you plan on using this alot or are experimenting with machine modifications like I am. Cheers!Edit: Recently got a Farberware FW61100042872 7 bar machine on sale at half price which is also Gevi based and this portafilter fits it perfectly same as the 553015 i use it on and have found the sweet spot on both for a double for my taste is approx 14.5 grams of medium to dark roast (sometimes i blend equal parts medium and dark) coffee ground in a Brim 50012 set between the last two marks. Both machines go a tad long ratio wise but i prefer lungo, especially for adding milk and iced coffee drinks.

Perfect fit for my Amaste machine!
The media could not be loaded. I have an Amaste espresso machine. I have not been able to find ANY replacement parts or accessories for it.The portafilter my machine came with was fine, but it only has dual-wall filters (fine for beginners, but zero learning is done). This portafilter fits the machine perfectly AND the single-wall filter basket can hold a few extra grams of coffee which is a delight! As for reviews mentioning spillage/leaking, there are a couple important things to note: 1. Bottomless portafilter are heavily known to leak/spurt if the puck isn't perfect (channeling, wrong grind size, etc), so this is due to learning and user error. 2. Always ensure this is locked tight on the group head so there's nowhere to leak.As mentioned in other reviews, ensure the handle is screwed on tightly before each use so it can't fall off!Overall, great for the price point and I'm thrilled it works for an Amaste machine!!!
