NRS Healthcare M00869 Free Standing Toilet Frame - Height Adjustable (Eligible for VAT relief in the UK)

Purchased to assist members of our congregation with mobility issues in our local church. Happily, it fits well round our standard toilet, and is a useful aid for those requiring assistance to get up and down. It is easy to remove for cleaning. It arrived in a giant box with an unbelievable amount of brown paper roll packed round it, so environmentally friendly as this is recyclable.Excellent value for money.

Can easily be moved from bathroom to downstairs toilet, or to wherever needed, but still robust.

Perfect for what was required only down side is picture show front bar is one continuous bar but when received it was not

I ordered this wider frame (48cm) as easier on a wider frame for a person’s arms to push up on the frame and hence lift the body. Only problem was I had not calculated the width of the toilet door and wall space inside to turn the frame round even when lifted in lengthwise and tried to turn it. After hard thinking and determination, this went in easily when the height adjustable legs with rubber feet were removed; hey presto, the frame could then be maneuvered into position and the legs refitted easily after positioning the frame inside. All sorted and very happy with the frame for my knee replacement surgery next week.

This was the only toilet frame I could find that was narrow enough for use in my en suite bathroom. It measures 17" while the adjustable ones are a minimum of 19" in width. This is a really high quality and sturdy frame. Very comfortably supports my dad and has been a huge help in assisting him during his recovery from a stroke. It comes readily assembled and doesn't require any installation. One thing to note is because it comes assembled, the box is HUGE (I could fit in it... I tried :P ). So beware if you're using a 3rd party courier, I used parcel motel and was charged almost the price of the frame to deliver.

after a visit from my father in law, who is in general good health apart from his knees!, we realised that he was coping very well living alone but he was most embarrassed to say that the only problem was getting off the toilet. we explained that this was a very easy problem to sort and ordered this item. it has totally changed his day to day life and this simple item has made a massive difference to him. he is no longer embarrassed to ask if he needs help with anything knowing that there can be a very easy and simple solution to any mobility problem. this had made him feel confident about living alone and being independent

Good value for money and really improved my self confidence

Bought in haste and did not measure so it was too narrow for me to use - I am not slim. My advice is take your time and ensure you measure your own width before you buy. The product itself is very well made, no sharp edges, sturdy and would certainly be a help in getting up off the toilet.

El fabricante no ha tenido en cuenta que debería ser un poco más bajo (alrededor de 10 ó 12 cm) y así poder sacar las patas para que, en caso de necesario, sacar las patas telescópicas hasta la altura que se desee. Tuve que mandar cortar los tubos exteriores por mantener una altura excesivamente alta. De no haber actuado así, las patas telescópicas no hubieran servido para nada.

Habe dieses Produkt für meine Eltern gekauft, beide über 90 Jahre alt.Sie haben eine Hängetoilette, das Gestell passt gut um die Schüssel.Die Stütze ist sehr stabil, Dank der zwei Querstangen vorne.Man darf das Gestell nicht so hoch einstellen, das die Querstangen über die Muschel ragen, was bei meinen Eltern auch nicht notwendig ist. Wenn man sie zu hoch stellt kann man schwerer Ausgehen oder sich hinsetzen, da die Ellenbeugen zu start abgewickelt sind und dadurch zu hoher Kraftaufwand notwendig ist.Die Füße sind unten nicht aus Gummi sondern aus Kunststoff, rutschen trotzdem, wenn man sich stützt nicht weg (bei einen Steinfliesenboden).Bein Eltern sind voll zufrieden.
