We have had a Lennox 48 inch wood-burning fireplace for years, as we're getting older, it was harder to collect and carry in wood all the time. My wife and I went on vacation and had a rental with a gas fireplace with a remote control, my wife said boy I wish we had it that easy. So it was added to the honeydew list and I came home and immediately got on Amazon and found this nice unit. Installation was very easy since we already had a knockout on the side of the fireplace for future gas line and ran the gas and hooked up the tank, and everything works great! It's really built well and looks wonderful! One note, make sure you get a good two stage regulator for your propane tank. The unit is sensitive about its pressure.

Great logs for my gas fireplace! After rearranging, I realized I only needed 2 of them to make my fireplace look perfect. Very realistic! The logs are heavy/sturdy. After reading reviews, I used the logs for the first 3 times with the windows open/ventillation to burn off any chemicals. After that, I did not notice any odors or smoking.

Had a wood fireplace for many decades but hauling wood got old. This gas fireplace is beautiful, warm and so easy to use. Easy to install too, took me just about an hour to do it all, as we had a gas line with a valve. Great and easy instructions too. Love the burning embers and the real wood look of the logs. All that's missing is the sound of a crackling fire, as my wife wanted that so we ordered a separate device that does that. Ahhhhh.

Very nice log set, but consume lots off propane. I have 120 gallons propane tank and filled it up to 80%, after turned on Peterson Real Fyre 24” spite Oak log set on low settings for 5 nights (night only) my propane tank dropped to 65%. There is no way that 100 gallons propane tank would last me a month.

I am so pleased with this log set. It looks so real and is so consistent. Plus it has the advantage of instant change. Too hot, turn it down, and vice-versa. With the real log fire, I had to haul in the logs, get kindling and newspapers, get the fire going and then there isn't much control. And all those messy ashes to clean up! I am spared all that. Now I have a lovely realistic fire all evening, and when I am ready to go to bed, I simply turn off the gas and close the fireplace doors. According to my son, it was easy to install. It didn't seem to take him very long, but he is very handy at this sort of thing.

Love the look of these driftwood logs. They heat nicely and stay warm after. One came with a small piece broken off the end though which was a bummer. I waited so long to get these I just installed them anyway. Other than that I love these. They will get sooty which is to be expected but they do clean off easily. Definitely worth the money in my opinion, just wish the shipping had been more careful. They are supposedly inspected before shipping and can't imagine them not catching it as it was right on top when you open the box.

I wanted a driftwood style logs set to replace the old broken ones in a small condo fireplace, which was converted to gas decades ago. The only down side was a higher price compared to the other models (beech, oak, etc.). I sucked it up and bought it and am so glad I did so. First, they are much better quality and securely stack higher than my old pathetic set. They come with clear visual instructions and logs are engineered to fit into one another securely, a nice feature here in earthquake country.As soon as I lit them up, the logs provided a perfect set of paths to provide a nice high flame with interesting reflection and light patterns. No regrets. They look amazingly natural, like I just gathered some driftwood on the beach (or riverside) and threw it into the fireplace. I added some new glowing embers and it looks amazing and natural.Note: box is heavy so be careful, but it showed up on time and unbroken. Conclusion: If you want an attractive good quality set of gas logs with the driftwood look, these are worth the extra coin.

We love the looks of these logs. They were very easy to install just by following the instructions.
