Delicious!
I actually ordered the wrong scent, I meant to get the tobacco one but got Amber & Smoke instead but it’s still delicious! I see other people leaving reviews saying it doesn’t smell..? It does! Not instantly but once it’s been burning a little while the room smells fantastic! I will be buying the tobacco one once this one has run out because I smelt it years ago and it’s delicious, can’t wait to get it again!

Beautiful candle!
I usually buy this from a local shop but with the current situation everywhere is closed. I’m so happy that I’ve been able to buy this! It’s my favourite candle! Yes they are expensive but we’ll worth the price! I would buy from this company again! The candle was well packed- bubble wrap & cardboard box & was also wrapped in pretty tissue paper so it was a real treat unwrapping it! I felt like it was my birthday! I will be buying again!

Only valuable as a novelty gift, not an actual scented candle
This was a nice novelty looking candle so I bought it as a Christmas gift but since I'm rather partial to candles myself I decided to get myself one to burn throughout the Christmas period, and I now feel sorry for the person I bought the candle for, unfortunately. Had nothing but problems the moment I received my one.First things first, the lid doesn't close properly. No matter how much I force it, the lid simply doesn't slot into the jar, it's stuck. I had to leave it like the image provided, loosely sitting on the top. Then there's the scent. I bought the Verbena and Eucalyptus one, I can't speak for the other scents, but here the scent was overpoweringly Verbena - there was no Eucalyptus at all, it smelled more like a cleaning chemical than something fresh and peppy - this didn't change when it was lit either. The wick also kept going out. No windows open no air flow blowing in the house, nothing like that, just a still environment with the candle burning happily on a little table, and the candle just kept going out. It just wouldn't stay lit, I had to keep relighting it.It also tunneled. Something awful, actually. Probably a product of the fact the candle itself kept going out, so there was a notable hole bored through the wax which I had to keep pushing down with a spoon - eventually I was forced to make a foil sleeve for the whole candle with a makeshift cap that also reduced the size of the top of the jar so the candle would stay lit and wouldn't tunnel - only then did it pool appropriately. Also, the wick isn't even straight in the wax - there was notable drift as the candle burned down, until it became really obvious it was completely off-center, which only leads to more tunneling and pooling problems. Finally, the price. It's a medium-small candle for £19 whereas a large Village candle costs you £20, burns longer and more efficiently and (in my opinion) has a much better fragrance, especially Eucalyptus. Or you could splash more cash and get a large Woodwick candle for £25 instead.I don't really like splitting hairs over price but with all the problems this candle has given me, I really don't think it's worth £19 - unless you're paying the "novelty charge" where you get an otherwise almost useless joke item that is worth it more for the unusual and uncommon appeal of the item itself, which this candle definitely has in spades, I love the old timey apothecarian aesthetic. In short - buy this as a novelty gift / stocking filler, but don't buy it if you intend on it being useful as a scented candle.

The aroma of an Autumn evening.
I never get tired of the aroma of this candle. I used to be able to buy it locally, but sadly, not any more. It burns for such a long time, and the aroma is beautiful but not overpowering.

Burns unevenly
Love the smell but lit this candle for the first time at Christmas. Made sure its ‘first burn’ was done properly. Candle maybe one third used and now burning down one side leaving a mountain of wax on the other side of the jar which will not melt. Because of this there’s a ‘well’ where the wick is and the melted wax keeps drowning the wick and the candle goes out. Disappointed. Ordered in August so past time I could return or complain.
