They’re alright!
They do the job. They’re definitely not the best on the market, but I was looking for alternative options.

Terrible candy
I tried this product when I discovered I’d have to wait an entire month before I could receive my refill of my favorite pastille. This was hard and did not have a pleasant taste to me. I would never buy it again. I gave them away.

Only 20 pastilles in the tin!
I love these pastilles. They help calm a scratchy throat and can be addictive. However, it took a long time to find these again. I was so excited because I had bought the 20 pack and enjoyed them. But. I wasn't pleasantly surprised when I received my package because instead of the 20 packets (4 pastilles/packet), there was only 20 pastilles in one tin. Too sad for words. My memory of the pastilles that I first bought at Trader Joe's was a full tin that took a while to finish. The only other brand that comes close is Grethers but they're more expensive.

OK
Thought I would give these a try and compare them to Grether’s. There was no comparison- Grether’s is the best. These are just OK, and rather pricy.

Great Pastilles
My wife uses these to soothe her throat if it's dry. She likes the flavor & texture & says they do as advertised. Works also to soothe a sore throat rather than drops that taste like medicine. Please continue to stock the Classic original. Not everyone wants sugar free.

They taste awful
I am normally a fan of black currant and I'm worried I got a bad batch.First, tin has a stick on plastic label on the side to indicate it's new. Mine came fully ripped in half. Since it was sliced right down the middle, I hoped the sticker was old and that it just snapped on its own.I tried the candy and it tasted like anise-flavored candy that fell in the dirt. Or maybe that someone had put in a hot armpit which transferred body odor. It was just really awful. After having it in my mouth for a while, the flavor improved, but that can't be normal, can it? Each piece starts tasting like a black licorice foot for the first minute?I tried these to sooth my throat and they didn't do that either.
