For DIY and Basic Use
I feel some of the reviews here are a little harsh. As this drill has honestly been more than okay for me. Before purchase I saw a lot of reviews talking about the difference between a Hammer and Impact drill, which just confused me. But from a layman's point of view, having now used this drill. If you need to drill into Brick or Breeze Block to put in raw plugs and hang photos, shelves and the like, this will definitely do the job! And it did it with great ease. The price alone kind of implies that it's not really meant for massive heavy duty projects, on construction sites or whatever. It's a home power tool for DIY and basic jobs.

Balanced & enough torque
Good solid drill, ideal for diy'ers. Good balanced weight, adjustable speed and locking. Chuck lock is clever & works well.......so far so good...very happy with it.

The term 'Universal' would be better as 'International' - and explain why it is 'international'.
The Drill is exactly what I wanted for DIY type jobs. I was a bit surprised though to find that it has a European two-pin power plug connection - and is supplied with a UK 3-pin adapter. Ultimately this is not a problem - but nevertheless this should be stated in the product description. Why is it NOT stated?

This drill is easy to use and powerful enough for most drilling jobs.
I bought this Bosch drill to use when drilling into brick and masonry. I always buy Bosch products as they are robust and dependable. This drill is no exception. I would certainly recommend this drill and the seller.
