I needed a couple of reliable AUX cables for my car and portable speaker, and this 2-pack from oldboytech was exactly what I was looking for. I'm really impressed with the quality for the price. The cables are nylon braided, which makes them feel incredibly sturdy and they don't tangle up into a knot like some of the cheaper rubber ones do. They feel like they will definitely last a long time, even with daily use in the car. The connectors are gold-plated, and the sound quality is crisp and clear—I haven't had any static or signal issues, so the Hi-Fi Sound claim seems spot on. The connectors are also slim enough that they plug in easily, even when my phone or tablet has a thick case on it. Getting two cables in the pack for this price is great value. I've got one permanently in the car and the other is perfect for the portable speaker. This little patch cord works wonderfully in the car to connect a cassette player to the Aux. Port. I can play those old cassettes -Yes, I know I could stream, but there is something nostalgic about the old school method! It works in the house on my home stereo receiver in the Aux In port and I can play those same cassettes in the house. Again, streaming would have been easier -if the cassettes are available on streaming. Some things aren't available on streaming, so this is a big help. So, overall, you should consider this particular patch cord if you need one to connect to your Aux Ports either in the car or on the home stereo system. I've experienced ZERO problems so far. The quality is pretty good for the low price, so you are not getting a total piece of junk when you buy this. The connectors are polished and plated. The wires themselves are not just plastic, they have braided shielding. This patch cord is well-made. It also says on the package that it supports multi-channel stereo sound effect. The company offers full refund or free replacement if you have any problems with the product, so again risk is minimized. They offer an email address to contact them, although it is a hotmail address, which gives me pause. They claim that they will get back to you within 18 hours. Great quality Works at it should

I ordered this in October 2018 and either the people who wrote such bad reviews got a unfortunate defective aux cord (happens with any item you get) or handled theirs to harshly, because mine has worked beautifully since I got it. Mine even came with a Warranty Card saying if there were any issues to contact them, but I've never needed to so I don't know what there service is like to be honest. I got this when my last pair of replacement headphones got damaged by how chinsy they were (it kept shorting out) so I figured I'd go for these since they looked sturdy and well made, and they definitely are. They are also definitely longer than the last ones I had as well. I am so glad that I got these for the amazing price they're at. I don't know what those other negative reviews are thinking. It's braided, so it 100% more protected than my last cheap pair, and the connectors and case are sturdy and so far have caused 0 issues. Since it came with two, I'm basically set for life in the event that the one I've been using gives out (which seems like that won't happen for a long time). I'm so happy with mine. If anything at all changes I'll update my review.

These cables have been a mixed bag for me as a streamer. I first wished I had gone with longer cables, but for the price, they do the job. The cables are well-made and appear to be long-lasting. The quality is clear, and they are durable. I did come across a negative review that said that they are TRS cables rather than TRRS cables, emphasizing the need to do research before purchasing. It's a legitimate argument, and it serves as a reminder that product descriptions may always be improved. Despite the slight snag, these cords have done an excellent job of connecting my equipment. Given the great comments on their performance and the low price, I'd recommend them to anyone in need of dependable audio.

There are three types of 3.5 mm audio adapters: TS, TRS, TRRS. These cables are TRS cables. TRS cables/adapters generally provide stereo audio but do not supply microphone functionality. If you want to use a headset with mic, you need a TRRS cable, and this is not it. I am giving the product 3 stars because the description does not mention the adapter type (TRS vs TRRS). The description mentions phone compatibility but does not mention incompatibility for phone conversations with a headset/mic. Furthermore, the supplier responded to a question about mic functionality from a user by stating "This is standard 3.5mm male to male audio cable, as long as both of your devices have a 3.5 mm connection, it will work." These do look like decent cables; I don't mean to be extremely critical. The photos do show a TRS adapter instead of a TRRS adapter. I'm just frustrated that I wasted money on something that won't meet my need. I should have spent more time researching before I clicked 'Buy'. More than anything, I write this review so that other users searching for whether or not it will work with a headset will not make my mistake. For as many reviews as there were/are for this product, my review is basically the first to make a point of these not being TRRS headset cables.
