Best clamps available for crossfit
This is by far the best quality and functioning clamp. I do Crossfit and dropping the heavy barbells from the full snatch extension is normal. All other clamps I've used, I had to re-adjust every set or two. Not this one! You clamp once and you won't need to touch them until you need to change the weights.

Work perfectly, easy open and close.
These barbell collars are perfect. Effective, easy to use, and seemingly durable. (I've only had them a month.) They open and close relatively easily, but get the job done.

These Lock Jaw Pro 2 Collars are worth every cent !!!
The first time I used these Lock Jaw Pro 2 collars was at a powerlifting gym and as soon as I picked them up I knew these collars were serious. I use these on my Texas Deadlift bar and they are as solid as my old school 5 lb comp clamps. If you are thinking about getting a set of quick release collars PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT buy the cheapo collars. Once these collars make contact with the bar you can FEEL the "squeeze" on the bar and then it snaps tight. .These Lock Jaw collars will also clamp tight to ANY BAR even the cheapo bars that have a slightly smaller sleeve diameter. What I like best about the Pro 2 collar is it has a "Snap Latch" which is like an added level of safety. The main latch will not release unless you press the "Snap Latch" first so repeated slamming will not pop open the main latch. To be completely honest I liked the 2" Pro 2 collars so much I also bought a set of the Lock Jaw 1" collars. They are just as good as their big brothers and being as inexpensive as they are, about $18.00 a set, I'm going to invest in a few more for my various other 1" bars.

Great collars
Easier to use than traditional metal collars, and they grip the barbell really well. Great home gym upgrade.

Works great
Love these collars, switched from the old spring collars to these. Lightweight, durable, and a lot better than the previous collars I’ve used. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Customer for life
I've been using these almost every day for the past 4 years and they still work like new (and I am rough on them). Best bar clamps i have ever used and I will never use anything different now. Incredible grip on the bar and easy to put on and take off. Nothing to complain about. Would highly recommend.

Lock Jaw vs cheapie Chinese rip-off brand
I am comparing this to another collar that I bought off Amazon for a third price. First, these are clearly using a much higher quality material. They feel very solid. The iron lab is made of cheap shiny plastic that looks like it would belong on a child’s toy. The Lock Jaw also feels noticeably heavier. On the cheaper collars, the rubber inserts are held in with screws. Whereas, on the lockjaws the inserts are nested inside of the mold. This seems like a much more durable design. The lockjaws also have a very satisfying and clicky spring action. The iron lab collars do not have a very strong click into place in comparison. To be honest though, the iron labs work fine for a third of the price. Functionally, both of these collars do their jobs for bench, deadlifts and squats.

Perfect for the Job
Fits my standard powerlifting bar perfectly. Easy to use and extremely effective at keeping my plates in place.

Heavy and solid. You can feel it clamp down hard, but taking it off barbells is easy as.

I bought the original Lock-Jaw collars when they first hit the market about ten years ago, and they’re still working flawlessly. I wanted to get a second set and was debating between these Pro 2’s and the metal versions sold by Lock-Jaw and Rogue. I’m very glad I went with these, and the build quality is absolutely superb. Unlike the metal version, they are very light so you don’t have to compensate for the added weight. Although I never had any problem with the originals, it’s obvious these Pro 2’s will hold up to much more weight and shock. They are a bit less convenient to release of course, but these definitely feel much more secure on the bar. One thing that should be noted is that with the original lock-jaws once they were locked on, they didn’t move at all. That’s because the circumference of the collar itself became flush with the bar. With the Pro 2’s the collar itself doesn’t actually make contact with the bar, but only the rubber lining. This makes the collar ‘float’ over the bar, so it jiggles a bit if you move it. This actually makes it more secure as the collar is then resistant to any shock when dropping weights or if a loose weight slams into it. In all, I strongly recommend these. They’re definitely worth the money over any Chinese knockoff.
