Works perfectly
Perfect fit on a 2009 DL650. I bought these to help keep my hands warmer during cooler weather, they work great. Installation was a snap.

Good value, increased comfort and safety.
2007 DL650 In addition to being reasonably priced, these fit well and look pretty good. They aren't going to be indestructible, but they'll keep wind, rain, rocks and brush off your hands. The instructions suck pretty bad, but anyone who maintains their own bike should be able to figure these out without too much trouble. They represent a good value in a world of overpriced, overhyped accessories.

Good guards. Using just these guards and some gloves, fingers still freeze at 35F and below - Works for SV650
Riding with these for about a month.THE GOOD:Looks decent on a naked SV650.Deflects MOST of the wind.Keeps your hands much warmer than riding without them.THE BAD:(Important note!) Only mirrors such as the ones in the picture will work with these guards. I had bar-end mirrors that I enjoyed, but sadly could not adapt this guard with the bar-end mirrors.Does not cover 100% of the wind. I ride without any electrical heating or hand warmers, only gloves and glove liners. Tips of my fingers still get really stinkin' cold on during a ride at around 35°F and below.-----If you combine these guards with some kind of electrical hand warmers, either heated grips or heated gloves, you will be pretty much invincible in the winter. If you are riding with just these guards and no other warmers, you more than likely still freeze your fingers... just not as fast nor as cold than if you were completely exposed.I miss my bar-end mirrors, and definitely would have saved up for a combo of better gloves and heated grips. Changing mirror styles was a hugely annoying puzzle in my case, since I didn't have the original bar-end weights. With thick gloves and heated grips, I feel it would be much easier to remove and replace for the passing seasons. Price was at $62 when I bought it. Easier to buy these than save up $100 for good gloves and $100 for heated grips.

Keep Your Hands Protected: V-Strom 650
> I fit these on my 2013 DL650 V-Strom.> These are good quality OEM guards and the instructions are only illustrative for many languages.> All hardware for installation is provided.> It took a while to figure out how to install each side due the illustrations, but all was well upon completion.> The guards are a welcome addition to protect your hands from flying debris, bugs and cold temperatures.> Buy them here as the dealer cost on these is much higher. The vendor's shipping time was very quick....good job!

Other than that the hand guards are wonderful. They help with wind and for any potential ...
Only reason this is getting 4 stars is because the product instructions are confusing as all heck. No clear descriptions and the pictures are hard to make out. Do yourself a favor and watch the helpful vids online to assist you in the install. Other than that the hand guards are wonderful. They help with wind and for any potential off street adventures.

Works great on my 2nd gen SV650.
I bought these for cold and/or rainy days on my SV650. They didn't cut the wind 100%, but darn close. I cant wait to ride in the rain. The instructions are just barely in English. Pay attention to the number of washers, and you'll need your original nuts. One note: the bar end screws that came with the kit were too long to correctly work the rubber expander inside the handlebars. Easy fix, though- I just put an extra nut on the bolt between the kits extender and my tapered washer. You'll figure it out.*UPDATE*Not bad for deflecting the occasional drizzle. They did nothing for me in the last downpour!

Throttle side fits fine. Clutch side has a wrong size bolt
Mounting hardware doesn't fit 2015 Vstrom 650 Adventure XT.Throttle side fits fine. Clutch side has a wrong size bolt. Got it to work by drilling and tapping the OEM bolt. It's a pain though. Took me 2 hours to install. With right hardware it would be a 15 minute job,

Suzuki DL650 knuckle guard kit
I bought this kit as part of several parts needed to install hand guards on my 2011 Suzuki GSX1250FA sport touring machine. Out of the kit I used the mounting hardware and the right hand guard (the right hand guard is identical to the DL1000 component). I had to add the DL1000 left handguard P/N 57541-06G10-291 and a special bolt for the left lever, 57431-06G00. With all of these parts and a few washers and 6mm nuts and bolts, it looks like a factory job. You can see my youtube video - search under redonkilaus - but note not to grind out the holes on the handguards like I showed on the video - you won't need to perform that step. This kit may also fit the GSX650F - with just the stand alone kit. Good luck!
