Kahuna AKLS-0225L Women's Blue Dial Brown Cuff Strap Watch

My order was two days late, but thats not the fault of the company. The watch was delivered of course in an Amazon cardboard box, and then after opening the box I found a sealed plastic bag containing a black textile pouch with a zipper and a 'clip' which could be clipped onto a belt. Inside the black pouch was a double layer of grey foam, and inside the foam was the watch packed into a small plastic bag, so you can definitely say that it was well packed! The watch and strap is 22 cm in length including buckle. There are 7 holes in the strap. There are two loops on the strap to hold the strap down when worn. The watch itself is held on to the strap with two loops which are stitched down. The stitching on the strap and two 'holding' loops is very tidy and seems strong. The watch itself has a plastic cover, covering the face which can be peeled off. This plastic cover was so well applied to the face that I didn't notice it at first. I left the cover on to proctect the face from scratches - if it bubbles up or loosens at the sides, then I will remove it.The strap is 2.4cm wide, the watch is 3.1cm wide , including 'winder' so it covers the whole strap. The strap is a beige color on the flip side and is stamped with the word KAHUNA. the buckle is also stamped with KAHUNA. The strap is embroidered with four flowers, two each side of the watch, the flowers have embroidered branch and leaves.The watch casing is a silver color, the watch face is a turquoise blue with two flowers printed on it. The numbering on the face is also silver as are the hour and minute hand. The second hand is turquoise blue, a little darker than the color of the face. The actual measurements of the face are 1.9 x 1.9 cm.There is a very small plastic stopper between the casing and the 'winder' which you have to remove. After removing the stopper, set the watch to the desired time and click the winder in towards the case. There is a very light ' ticking' from the watch which I can only hear if I am sitting in complete silence, or if I hold the watch up to my ear.I am a petit lady, I have a thin wrist, approx 16 cm in circumference. I wear the watch on the next to last strap hole.I find the watch very comfortable to wear, it is absolutely NOT too wide or ' clumsy' looking.It keeps time very well. The watch has to be taken into a professional if the battery fails or wears out.The watch appears to be well made, it is VERY VERY pretty, the watch is a little different to all other watches on the market, but it's not ' over the top' . I am very satisfied with my purchase.The only ' minus' I can come with is that even though it does state in the description on Amazon that the strap is not made of real leather, and I was very clear over what I was buying , I would happily of given a few more pounds for a real leather strap.-- Best wishes. Love this watch. Bought partly to cover a wrist tattoo at work. It does the job nicely. Quite wide (wide enough for what I needed), it's very pretty for a wider strap. Only thing is the tick is quite loud at night so I have to turn it round on my nightstand and sometimes it can rotate on the wrist but not a massive issue. Great value.

Bought this for my niece and she absolutely loved it. She is 13 and does like to dress in modern clothes and so is difficult to buy for but she was so happy with this! Such good quality and very pretty.

Whist the watch is really nice the picture of the presentation box and 'pillow' is false advertising and misleading. The watch arrives in a black bag. Shame as it was bought as a gift

The media could not be loaded. It seems to be impossible to get into the back of the watch to put a new battery in because of the way the strap is constructed. The watch didn't come with instructions. A great shame. My second Kahuna watch - the first one had the same problem!

Very disappointed. This is the third watch I have ordered from Amazon. Not one has worked. I expected more from this one as it was a more expensive model. It asks you to return watch with proof of purchase and enclose a £5 cheque for p&p. Cheek. Of course there is no stamp on the form to say where it was purchased. Not happy at all.

Quite different from the picture, the blue clock actually is a lot smaller than I thought and the brown strap is really big making the blue square clock very small and weird looking. Not something I'll go for but if you like this kind of weird looking watch, go for it 😃

Really great value and seems good quality! Was packaged well and I like the fact that I don't get it wet as it is mounted onto the leather strap.
