Safety 1st Extensions for Pressure Fit Gates, 14 cm, White

We managed with just the normal gate for a while but our daughter was getting to the point it was at risk of not holding so we decided it was best to get the extension and spindle bolts to make it fit better. They were simple to fit and made the gate far more secure.

I've been using just a pressure disk for many years and it's slowly been destroying the stair banister and the gate falls down every time it's slammed, so I looked for a better solution. Copilot, bless it, suggested getting one of these y spindle brackets, so as it wasn't too expensive, I thought I'd give it a whirl. Installed just now. Very easy. It didn't come with a nut, but I was able to use the one with the older flat pressure bracket as the spindle was the same diameter. So far, feels totally rock solid. I'm able to slam the gate and it doesn't move an inch. Well impressed. Just wish I'd done the research and found this earlier :)

Needed along with other products due to a very wide staircase and has done the trick . Very sturdy and easy to put together all done in a few minutes

Fitted with quick close gate

We have a rounded bannister at the top of the stairs that I didn't want to drill into. These worked perfectly. Thye are sturdy and good quality, even with my son shaking the gate, it doesn't budge, keeping the gate secure and him safe. They were so simple to use, just put them in place of the flat ones that come with the gate.

Did the job well

Got several of these gates. And they are really good quality and surprisingly sturdy.

I bought these to improve fixing of existing Safety gate to curved post.I already had round flat fixings and adjustable nut and washers. The cardboard box had tear on flap.Inside the two brackets had no washer or nut attached.There was one lock washer loose in box. This must have been a returned item. Disappointed.

Conclusión: Recomiendo esta extensión si ya tienes la barrera Easy Close Metal y necesitas cubrir un espacio más ancho. Su calidad y compatibilidad son excelentes, y una vez instalada correctamente, brinda la tranquilidad que los padres buscamos. Solo sugiero planificar bien las medidas y número de extensiones necesarias para evitar ajustes de último momento. ¡Una inversión que vale la pena para mantener a los pequeños seguros!
