Meegopad i5 NUC is well made and ideal for Multimedia.
The Meegopad Intel Core i5 1.4 GHz NUC is well made and in a smart aluminium looking case. Performance is excellent and would provide a good multimedia PC with HDMI HD output or desktop PC. I understand 4K is possible.As expected the i5 NUC is not a serious gaming machine as the inbuilt graphics card frame rate is too slow at high resolution output.I also purchased memory Crucial 4GB DDR3L Crucial 4GB DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3L-12800) SODIMM 204-Pin - CT51264BF160B The Meegopad i5 NUC has only one memory slot so limited to 4GB or 8GB. Also added a Kingston 120GB mSATA Solid State Drive Crucial CT128M550SSD3 128GB M550 mSATA Internal SSD With a NAS attached to my network providing shared storage.Reliability – been using it for 2 weeks with Windows 10 Pro without any problems.Areas of improvement add a full technical specification so you know the exact voltage of the memory to be used, as the board only said DDR3. Also need to provide a UK Plug and not just an EU plug. Pay slightly more refinement and attention to detail.Still represented value for money for an excellent well-made product, with quick booting given the Solid State Drive. There are cheaper NUC available but many are slower Intel Celeron processors, that I do not recommend.March 2018- Been using it for over 10 weeks without any problems, proving reliable.
