Oh WOW!
There is a very slight learning curve to this light, but once you have it down...oh WOW! This thing is crazy bright.I work highway construction, at night, and was fed up with barely being able to see with my existing light. I have Olights on my firearms and wondered how one of their lights would work on my hardhat.I usually run it on flood, and low, it works for 90% of everything I do, but when I really need to light up an area we have just milled, a bump or two up works to light up the entire area in my field of view.During temporary traffic control setup and teardown, I switch to the red light, and often set it to high, so I am visible from a long way down the road. When hot mix asphalt arrives, I can flip over to spotlight and see everything in the back of the dump truck, and it's all black! This light is WAY more than expected and makes me annoyed that I waited so long to get rid of my old light.Just about everyone on my project has asked about where I got it and what it costs. Those that understand the value of a great light "get" the price. Great equipment is not cheap.

Nice and Bright
Its nice and bright but the battery doesn't last more than a couple hours on the low brightness setting.

Nice!
I've always used the cheapo headlamps. The brighter ones are either big and heavy or small and go through AAA batteries like the cookie monster through a bag of chocolate chip cookies. This one is light, comfortable and very bright. The only thing that remains to be seen is if it will last through a 10hr shift of more-on-than-off use. 5 stars for now, will update after a week of daily (ab)use.

Running, oh so bright
I'm in my mid 50's and I needed a really bright running light. sidewalks, broken asphalt, gotta watch it as I get older. Tried 500, 900, 1200 lumens. At 1500, this is the brightest, lightest, around band only (no top band needed) Everything else was just not bright enough. Not looking for hours of light. Two- 45 minute full brightness jogs and no shut-off. Buy it, all others under $100 fail to compare.

It’s decent, not the greatest as a mechanic however.
This light is pretty decent, battery life honestly kind of sucks. It also gets extremely hot when using, I assume this is meant for outdoors since it has fins built in for cooling. If it gets too hot it’ll dim to its lowest setting which isn’t bright enough for dark engine bays. The controls are finicky and slightly complicated switch between brightness or switching from a 1light to duel light mode. And then there’s a “lock/unlock mode” where if you press the button once the light will flash and you have to press the button for a certain amount of time to change it and then double pressing or something. I also somehow entered hand motion mode, because whenever the sensor passes an object when I’m working on a car, it also dim and it’ll keep doing it. It’s super annoying. I think the controls could use an update as well as the battery. I will be trying other stuff they have for sale. I still believe the brand is quality, but this light product is not for me and I wouldn’t recommend this for auto techs. I will keep using it and eventually get comfortable with the controls since I paid 90 bucks for it, I’m not gonna let it sit in my tool box.
