Great fun!
Ooh! I loved every minute of this! Sweet, humorous sexy fun. This story follows Gabe & Ava. We’ve met them before in Wardrobe Malfunction. Having said that, you do not need to read that first as this is a complete stand alone story. I’d recommend reading it though as it was great!Ava is down on her luck. She’s lost her job and homelessness is breathing down her neck when she, literally, runs into, or rather over, the famous Hollywood heartthrob, Gabriel Evans. He was on the grumpy side to start with but now, with a broken foot courtesy of the smallest car in existence, his grumpiness takes on a whole new level. After some witty back and forth banter Ava ends up agreeing to look after the surly guy while he heals. Let the fun commence! Lol.I loved the dynamic between Gabe & Ava. I loved the banter, that had me laughing out loud many times. They were both great characters but were well developed with their own hidden vulnerabilities. There was everything here. It was funny, sweet, sexy and romantic, but also emotional as well. The plot was sharp and moved along great. I was invested from the start and thoroughly enjoyed every minute.I have read a good few books by this author and enjoyed them all. I’d say, in my opinion, that this is one of her best though. She definitely has a talent for rom-com’s.This was a great read that I’d definitely recommend.

It never get boring .....
Is this a love story.... yes! Of course it is, and a frustrating, stubbornly, hilarious, funny love story it is!But its ALL about the 'Gucci'!'Gucci' is my favourite new character, or goat should I say!Gabe is arrogant, rude, bossy, s*xy, and loyal. Ava is funny, sassy, caring, sweet, s*xy, takes no sh*t and HAS A PET GOAT! OMG, this alone is reason enough to buy 'Breaking Hollywood'.Ava's driving skills are not the best, which she proves as she drives over Gabe's foot. Ava becomes Gabe's live in house maid and all around helper and with her comes 'Gucci'! (again the goat I know, but honestly..... she's my secret love in this book). The bantering is hilarious and the pull undeniable..... when they do give into their attractions, certain truths come out and terrible misunderstandings and deceits lead to heartbreak.Sam writes the funniest, loveliest and most 'romantic' in such a classy way, stories that are ALWAYS a must buy.Than you Sam! Now about a book for 'Gucci' and 'Donnie'.........

Samantha Towle must have been laughing continuously whilst writing this hilarious story!! 5*++
Oh my goodness Samantha Towle has delivered three brilliantly funny stories this year... we’ve been well and truly spoilt that’s for sure. It’s only the first chapter, we’ve only just been introduced to Ava and already you have her weighed up... her humour is one of the first things you love about her and it only gets better.!Funny is putting it mildly add Gabe to the mix and it becomes hilarious, their banter is like no other and when you think you’ve heard it all we meet Gucci... well what can I say only that I started to google all things Pygmy Goats. If you loved Wardrobe Malfunction you will love Breaking Hollywood because Charly, Vaughn and Julian appear in Ava and Gabe’s story so straight away you get that all important familiar feeling and find yourself thinking back to Breaking Hollywood... it’s absolutely brilliant. While the banter between Ava and Gabe continues so does their sizzling chemistry but underneath all the humour there is an element of sadness. Gabe for the most part is wonderful but there are moments of disappointment where his behaviour to Ava is totally out of order, it really pulls at your heartstrings but the ever forgiving and understanding Ava takes it in her stride, she doesn’t take his nonsense and it pays off but not before a couple of more incidents.Things are going really well for Ava and Gabe even Gucci has won Gabe over but it’s not long before alarm bells start ringing. As soon as Ava signs that form you just know it’s all going to go belly up... she hasn’t told Gabe, why should she.You know it’s coming but it’s still a shock... you’re not prepared for the big fall out. Gabe gives an Oscar performance with his nasty hurtful words to Ava and it’s quite an emotional scene, all you can think about is where will Ava and Gucci go from here. You have to wonder if Ava and Gabe’s relationship will survive and even after Gabe’s dreadful behaviour Ava still took it in her stride. As upset as she was she knew she couldn’t blame Gabe for blaming her.Thank goodness for Charly, together with Ava the truth was realised, a little bit of detective work goes a long way.We witnessed another Oscar performance from Gabe as he woo’d Ava with his undying love and apologies... it was a beautiful moment.I can’t praise this story enough, everything from Ava Gabe and Gucci, Skippy and Hoppy, Pinky and Perky and so much more... loved it.!Beautiful beautiful epilogue too.! Julian has stared in Waldrobe Malfunction and Breaking Hollywood surely he has a story to tell ??Looking forward to much more from our favourite author..!

3.5 stars
I struggled with this book and don't really understand why it has 5 star reviews. It isn't a complicated book or story. The dynamic between the main characters starts off mildly amusing -they enjoy antagonising eachother with irritating nick names - and becomes quite annoying. It is not laugh out loud funny as some reviewers think, i'm afraid. If you like silly, immature dialogue with not much substance, then this is perfect for you.I am hoping the other book of Samantha's I have downloaded is more my style.Sorry I'm not more positive.

Hilarious it isn't
To start on a positive note I really enjoyed the opening section of this book and I liked the bickering between the 2 main characters. Unfortunately after that it was all downhill for me. Gabe had more mood swings than a hormonal teenager and no matter how awful he was Ava forgave him in a blink of an eye every single time. Even after he threw her out knowing she'd be homeless. The story also got a little far fetched for me towards the end. However my biggest gripe is this book is described as hilarious. Its not. Its not even funny. Or maybe I missed the laugh out loud moments. How on earth it has so many 5 star reviews is a complete mystery to me.
