Dr Adorable - 8 oz - Prickly Pear Seed Oil - 100% Pure Natural Organic Cold Pressed

Read, read, read! Let me preface this review by frst stating: I was as skeptical as H. E. Double hockey sticks about this (but Amazon has a wonderful return system in place, and the price won't break my bank) and second, I NEVER leave reviews for my Carrier Oil or Essential Oil purchases - I have been deep in the game of Oils for almost 10 years now (Whenever Jojoba Oil Changed my Skin and my life) - so I have always purchased from reputable companies... HOWEVER I had been researching possible alternatives to hyaluronic acid - it is drying or sticky or just plain funky whenever I try to apply it to my face, etc., and I have tried gels, serums, creams - and I came across an extremely vague mention of Prickly Pear Seed Oil. And when I searched for the benefits of this Carrier Oil on its own, I was flummoxed by the results. Pricky Pear Seed Oil appears to be THE Goddess of all Carrier Oils (I will not list anything here, because I assume you heard or read something as well, which is why you are reading this, and like me, are also skeptical concerning this price... which I am about to go over). WHAT YOU MAY BE WONDERING: 1. Is THIS PPSO, by Dr. Adorable Inc., even legit? ANSWER: Actually, YES! After everything I researched regarding PPSO, this oil checks off all boxes. Light green, verging on yellow in color, so a greenish yellow hue? - yes. Typical Carrier Oil scent, aka near odorless or reminiscent of Jojoba or Almond or Avocado? - Yes. In fact, upon my initial sniff test this reminded me of my ever present staple, Jojoba, so wholly that I began thinking, "That's it! They have added a dye to jojoba!". But ... Does it have a silky, luxurious texture or feel as you apply it to your skin? - Yes! In fact, I have NEVER felt an oil glide over my skin like this before - "silky" and "luxurious" don't do the feel of this oil justice. It slips and slides and glides over my skin the way I used to imagine those thousand dollar serums I would never afford did. For my face, I really only need 5 drops or so, and as for absorption, it takes as long as Jojoba. (But being honest, it has been so insanely hot here in middle America Oklahoma, and I'm a sweater, so it's hard to accurately gauge at the moment). 2. Why is THIS selling price SO LOW, or CHEAP, when compared to other sellers on Amazon and elsewhere, or at least from what every online inquiry claims it should it should cost? ANSWER: Not a damn clue! But what I DO KNOW is that if you are wondering whether this is legit - this PPSO, at this price, in this SIZE - Yes I believe w/out a doubt that it is. And you better grab it now before the price goes up (like everything else these days)

Works great very moisturizing. Add to all my skin care

I decided to try this for my face as part of my night regimen. Seems to help retain moisture and I wake up with soft skin. My fine lines seem to diminish as well with this oil. I’m not crazy about the smell, but it’s not a strong smell. Seems to be a good quality oil.

This oil is nice, but I haven't seen a big difference between this and my other oils I have been using as far as Moisturization goes. Like my other oils, this absorbs quickly. I haven't noticed a big difference in the way my skin looks. But still prefer naturally moisturizing over the chemicals in most lotions. It still gets 5 stars because it is as good as my other oils.

I've coupled using carrot oil while cupping and I love THIS prickly pear oil. Highly recommend. Good value and leaves my skin 😀

Oil seems fresh, color is bright with out cloudiness. Personally feel it's overpriced for the size.
