Great Reception
I have tried several antennas, 6, and nothing compares to this. Great reception and very easy to install. You have to have a co-axle connection on your stereo. I mounted it on the back side of my steel pole barn, so no one could see it, and ran a cable co-axle cable to my stereo, no special tools or equipment. Also the price is very worth it. I would recommend this to anyone with a stereo reception issue. If this doesn't do it, I don't know what else you could do short of erecting a tower.

Works as expected
Like: seems to work just fine in rural Alaska where the NPR station I prefer is 100 miles away and it comes in fine. I can't say the signal comes directly from the station as there may be some repeaters along the way.Dislike: poor instructions and pictures in putting the product together.

came damaged with no instructions
Item came in a badly damaged exterior box. The product box on the inside was also badly damaged; it was partially crushed. One of the plastic spreaders for the antenna was broken. There are no instructions beyond a couple of drawings of the assembled product and the drawing does not fully match the actual antenna delivered. After working at it for awhile I figured out how it went together, but I had to shorten the long bolt that holds the thing together to get it to go together. Once I managed to get it assembled it seemed to work OK - not sure how well it will hold up to severe weather.

"Ok" for under 20 bucks
This is an ok option for under $20, however if you want something good or for the long-term, get something better. My first problem with this is assembly. The instructions are just a picture and the picture was actually a little different then what I received! I spent about 20 minutes trying to figure it out.Second problem was the box clearly states "with amplifier". So what does that mean? There is no power cable or anything included. False advertising?I first tried this out in my basement and then outdoor fairly high up, just to get an idea of its capabilities. Compared to nothing, this actually did bring in both FM and TV stations underground in my basement. It worked much better outside on a tall pole.So yes it does work, but... if I would really consider spending a little more to get something better.

Wire dipole gives better signal strength
My experience is similar to Mr Olanin's. Assembly instruction diagrams are useless because they don't match the product and not sure what they consider to be an amplifier but certainly there was no powered signal booster as one may have expected. Also two of the plastic bridge supports arrived broken. I live in rural Vermont and I purchased this antenna to get better FM radio reception. My receiver is in the basement and with my simple wire dipole ($6) I am unable to get sufficient signal strength for stereo reception. Was hoping that this antenna mounted outside would resolve that issue. Now the antenna is only about 7 feet off the ground and coax to my receiver is maybe 30 feet long but signal strength is actually worse than what I get with the cheap wire dipole. I really don't want to raise the antenna to roof level so may have to live with mono reception. Anyway, looks like I'll stick with the indoor wire dipole and send this one back.

Five Stars
Small and very strong. Mounted mine in the attic. I have no regrets with this purchase.

receiving a weak signal
I liked the antenna, it was easy to assemble and it did make a difference on my reception but it is only about 7' off the ground. I will be putting it on top of my garage for better range.
