Practicality at its best
Great notebook for a few reasons: - Thicker pages: The pages in Leuchtturm notebooks are way too thin for my tastes. If you use that as a baseline you'll find these pages to be not only less see-through but also harder to accidentally bend or rip. Anticipate just a little bit of ghosting with pens and markers. - Size: It's no taller or wider than a tablet/e-reader, and is a comfortable size to fit in even small bags. Still has plenty of writing area on the page. There's also enough pages to know that I don't need to ration them to make sure I can fit in a whole year - Plain design: Colors and designs are fun sure, but my notebook spends 99% of its life either shoved in a bag or laying open; I also don't really *want* my personal journal to be a "conversation starter". The cover is sturdy, and that fits my needsSome reviewer mentioned that the dots are darker than most, and I agree with that - it's up to you to decide if that's bothersome. Darker dots were a feature for me. There was also a mention of the elastic being a little too tight, leaving a dent in the cover - mine was like this when I got it, but again since I don't spend much time looking at the cover I don't really mind it.This notebook doesn't scream "I CONTAIN MY OWNER'S HOPES AND FEARS AND DREAMS" which makes it way easier to use in public or keep out on my desk unsupervised, and I love it all the more for that

Great quality, but a little heavy
The book is thicker than I imagined and it's weight is nowhere near that of a Moleskine, but overall, for the price, it's a great buy.

This is a great journal! The quality of the paper and the leather covering is fabulous. This journal is very professional looking. I'm new to using dotted journals and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. The amount of paper inside the journal is very generous. You won't be running out of paper any time soon. And an added bonus is the elastic band to keep any documents secured within the journal, and a pocket to hold any loose documents such as business cards or receipts. Great purchase!

Dots too dark!
Don't like the dark dots. I thought they wouldn't bother me but I hate writing in it. I'm a pencil gal and do a lot of sketching with my bullet journaling and the dark dots clutter up my space. Weird, I know right? But artists are like that. I really loved my Peter Pauper journal and will be using them. Also thought it was supposed to come with 2 ribbons but oh well I can live with one-added my own. But those dots argh!

Disappointed
I was under the impression the pages would hold up to markers without ghosting & bleeding but it didn't. It bleed through even on the next page. I does hold up to some regular pens.

Smaller than A5
Was planning on using this for my bullet journal because I was attracted to the 100gsm paper. Minimal ghosting which was great and no bleed through. The thickness of the paper itself is nice but it's smaller than a regular A5 notebook and the dots are way too dark for my tastes. Ended up buying a different notebook because of size and the dots.

GREAT DOTTED NOTEBOOK!
I love my Scrivwell Hardcover black notebook! I think it's the perfect size. It's NOT A5 for those of you looking for an A5 dotted planner. HOWEVER, Scrivwell does have A5 sized dotted planners too just search it in the search bar.Pros:-Smaller size than A5 makes it easy to stick in your bag to carry around-It's a plain notebook. No additional bells or whistles needed.-I like the dot color density. Makes it good for my first dotted journal.-I like the color of the paper (it's an off-white shade). It's easy on the eyes-It has a pocket in the back of the notebook!-The elastic band that holes it close is very taut-Pages do not bleed with the Paper Mate Ink Joy gel pens, Pentel sign pen, or Midliner highlighter (100 gsm)-Price point is on point!-Lays flat! Binding is very sturdyCons:-Pages are not numbered-Only 1 bookmarkOverall, really really great notebook. I used it for Bullet Journaling, handwriting, notes, etc. It's great to keep your ideas all together in one place.

Great quality
A while a go I came across this dot grid notebook on Amazon. I couldn't find anyone who had actually used it. All it's specs looked great... Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. Here is my unbiased review:I love it.The Goods: The pages are super smooth. The ghosting is minimal and bleed is damn near non existent. The grid is the perfect shade. The pocket in the back is big enough for all my odds and ends. The bads: no index or key pages (which I am ok with). Only one page marker (which I am also ok with). Only comes in black (which is perfect for me but probably would peeve the rest of you). And lastly the pages are not numbered. (which I find only mildly annoying any way).See the pics.
