Nicely compact and straight to the point
This is a very straightforward “one job” capsule that gives you double the daily recommended dosage of vitamin D3, to help with your bones, teeth and so on. There’s no other supplementary benefit or distraction, no excessive medical claims, just a simple vitamin dosage. The only ingredient that might upset some people is the fact that bovine gelatin has been used to make the capsule lining, so these are NOT suitable for vegetarians. The inclusion of colouring E172 to make the capsules red also seems a little needless, in a minor way.I struggle with swallowing large capsules so I was very pleased with the small size and simplicity of these- they’re very diddy and easy to swallow. I can even swallow them without water, which is very unusual for me, and they’re down your throat before you can tell whether they taste of anything or not. There are high-dosage multivitamins that will give you 200% of your vitamin D3 NRV at the same time as a bunch of other stuff, so if your dietary supplement needs are broader then you might want to look at a multivitamin, but if you’re definitely just after the vitamin D then it’s very hard to fault these as an easy-to-swallow everyday solution.

Easy to take Vitamin D3 tablets
I have taken Fultium D3 for some years now as I suffer from severe deficiency if I don't. Bone health is emphasised in the information with these vitamin tablets but Vitamin D is also key for thyroid health, your immune system and there has been evidence showing correlation between deficiency and Alzheimer's. Vitamin D3 (also known as cholecalciferol) is the type of vitamin D produced by the sun. It's hard to make enough even if you follow the recommendation to make sure you spend 30 minutes every day in sunlight with your forearms exposed. In the UK there isn't enough sun in the winter. Vitamin D3 is the type in these Fultium Daily D3 Capsules and which you can also get in your diet from oily fish. The other type is Vitamin D2, a plant-based form of vitamin D. For vegetarian snack children under 12 the drops are recommended. These capsules are easy to take and the website states 'Contains a high quality oil that aids absorption, unlike dry powder tablets.'

Easy to swallow and does what it says on the box
Fultium Daily D3 capsules are a simple daily dose of Vitamin D, simple packing with aluminum foil bubble packing that's easy to open. The capsules themselves are tiny and there's no taste to them at all, so should be easy for most people to take with or without water.Fultium Daily D3 capsules are designed to give you the 10 microgram daily dose of vitamin D as recommended by government scientific advisors, n mount you're certainly unlikely to get if you live in the UK and stay here over the winter months, or if like me if you're almost nocturnal. This easy one a day pill gives you what you need without too many other bells and whistles, you are getting exactly what the box tells you rather than paying for a bunch of other stuff you likely don't need, and for the cost (currently £7.49) 60 capsules is good value.

I LIKE THIS PRODUCT
I have been using a tablet form of Vitamin D for a couple of months before starting these capsules as blood tests I had at my doctors revealed I had a slightly low level of vitamin D and also have an underactive thyroid. Vitamin D is important for thyroid health so I started to supplement. You should be able to get enough Vitamin D from the sun during the summer months but unless you sit out in it without sunscreen you do not get the benefit. I am not keen on sitting in the full sun so would rather take supplements. These capsules are easy to take, do not have any aftertaste and I must say that after taking them for almost a month I am feeling better than I did previously. I will probably continue taking these in future instead of the tablets that I had been buying.

An easy way to get your recommended daily winter dose of Vitamin D
According to Government advice, we are all supposed to be taking a daily Vitamin D supplement of 10 micrograms during the winter months. That's what you get with these capsules. They are small and very easy to swallow. The box contains 60 capsules (4 blister packs of 15). I have heard that the actual dose of Vitmain D in tablets can vary a lot, so perhaps these capsules deliver a more reliable dose, although it is difficult to tell without scientific equipment to assay the actual content of the active ingredient!

Would highly recommend- good value and quality at a fair price
What is not to like? These are good value, high content vitamin D capsules (better than tablets to digest any day) and we need these here in Scotland, as the days are shorter the higher up the map you go! The dept of health recommends we all have daily vitamin D now, especially in the Highlands where we live and this is an excellant way of acquiring the stuff. For the content, they are not too expensive and certainly more easily obtained online than searching endless packets in supermarkets and stores to examine the actual contents, not always easy and not always as highly active a dose as you would imagine. Would highly recommend and definately buy again, having compared to the value, quality and ease of obtainment of other major brands.

Great product, well stored for freshness, but is the dose high enough?
I think this is a reasonable price for what it is and how it is stored - a blister pack for keeping the capsules super fresh. The capsules are small and easily swallowed - can be a bit tricky to get out of the pack though. My one concern is over the level of dose. In the UK most/all of us are vitamin d deficient and this level of dosage seems well under the recommended daily dose, so I question whether 1 a day is enough. Personal judgement required, personally I buy the glass jars of Solgar which are a higher dose and relatively speaking, cheaper (and as I take several supplements easier for getting out and into my daily dispenser).
