Q: What is the length of the sketchbook when completely unfolded?

Approximately 3 metres. But it's a folded length of cartridge paper so you can work on both sides I'm now working with no 8. That's since I started using them in 2013.

Unfortunately it doesn't specify that it is acid free on the label, so I would assume it isn't.

Q: is it easy to take pages out by ripping?

The concertina sketchbook is one large piece of paper that has been folded very cleverly to make a beautiful A5 sketchbook. In answer to your question, it would be extremely difficult to tear out a page. This sort of sketchbook is ideal for sketching a landscape when it is all unfolded. It is then easily re-folded back into an A5 size that is easy to store our carry about. Similarly you can use it like an ordinary sketchbook with each page being just A5. I hope this helps.
