On the expensive size for a f2.8 aps-c lens. But other than that, it is a very fun and useful carry-on lens.Fast auto-focus for a macro.Lovely in every aspect.

Amazing lens on new X-T5
The glass part of this little lens looks so small... but it's a great lens. Crazy-sharp, with a quick autofocus. Very lightweight, and the 30mmm gives you a nice normal field of view - I used it for shooting volleyball from the side of the court and it was perfect for getting just close enough to the action. I noticed a difference from the f2 35. f2.8 isn't crazy fast but it's fine - it's the macro that you care about with this one and the macro is incredible - barely inches away from my dog's nose and it's sharp and quick to focus. Build quality is typically great.
