Quality 4K front/HD rear dashcam.
Brilliant dashcam (I now have in two cars). Easily installed and as there is no battery it can stay in the car throughout summer without issue. Brilliant feature listens for your voice to 'Take Photo' or 'Lock the Video' without touching the camera. Managed to work with the seller to get an updated firmware for my first camera, which was easily updated. You need to plan how to get the cables from through to the rear camera, I chose to go above the roof liner and with a flexible cable rod this is possible. Quality of the images are superb and you can either pull the SD card and watch them on your PC or use the phone app and watch them wirelessly. The app could be a little more user friendly but its easy enough to use once you've had a play. I bought a larger 256GB card for more storage.

Works well after 6 months
I've used this for about 6 months or more now. It's a great camera, front and rear. You have to control via an app from the App Store, which works ok. The picture quality of the front camera (when the footage is download from the SD card to your phone or device) is excellent, does seem 4k. You can easily read registrations in the daylight from over 10 metres away, at night you still have good quality. Only issue I've encountered is that it is slower to start recording after I start the engine (I hardwired mine), so perhaps I need to re-format the SD card which is full of recordings that I don't need. I'd recommend this to anyone sceptical of buying. The sticky pads are strong and keep it in place. Routing the cables is a bit of a pain. I'd buy it again if my car got nicked.

Nice compact camera, front and rear. Set and forget style. 4K sensor.
Nice compact camera, front and rear. Set and forget style. Use app to connect to device and review footage. For clearer viewing of recordings, make sure to actually download first to device and better to look on PC. Records audio also! The spec say 128GB max but I have 256GB, just format on PC first to make sure you are getting 256GB. Although in the manual it says 256GB, so formatting in the device should work too. Files are recorded in HEVC (H.265) for very good encoding with smaller file sizes compared to the traditional AVC (H.264) It is indeed "4K" - 2160p - check my attached details files. And sure, the implementation and software processing is not as good as a €1000 flagship phone so don't expect super sharp AI processed super pictures and videos with this. It's just a basic 4K sensor with basic processing, and for the price it's good. Also, very important to note, you have to download the videos/images to your device (better PC) and play/view them that way, this is what will give you the good quality. Live view on phone is compressed and not a true representation of what the camera is actually recording. I've added pics of a difficult pattern for a camera and it recorded them fine. Ignore the removed parts, that's for privacy reasons. I've uploaded them raw/full but Amazon might compress them so just be aware of that. The front and back recordings are separate files on the SD Card (ending in A and B respectively). Installation is easy, but I've done these before so have experience. It's as easy as the others I've installed on my friends/family members' cars. Compared to those other cameras it's about the same "quality" but you can zoom in more on PC for extra detail. The others are 1080p front and 480p back, so not as clear as this one. Car charger goes into 12v (or 24V) slot but has a handy USB Type A 5v 1.5A output for charging phones or whatever so you can still keep your phone going. Comes with a very handy spudger tool to helping move the wires under the trim of the car. The 3M tape supplied is really good - make sure to clean area with isopropyl alcohol first though! Comes with stick on clips if you are afraid to go under the trim - don't be afraid as it's much cleaner if you go under the trim, just make sure not to block side/pillar airbags. The back camera is 360deg adjustable on the Y-axis (i.e. adjust up to sky, down to ground). Front is not adjustable, so make sure to look at the video stream while you are installing it. Bonus: The built in voice announcements can be disabled.

Sometimes works but many corrupted unplayable videos - returned second time, won't buy again.
Decent video quality but plenty of software problems - returned a second one and won't be buying again. First one had an issue with the memory card getting corrupted after a few days (the issue was not with the card but the camera, as different cards had the same issue). The second one had an issue with file system corruption as well as corrupted videos, but no warning of the problem. About 1/3rd of the videos were corrupted and couldn't be played/freeze partway. Thankfully the camera doesn't overwite old videos when in loop mode, or I would have had no way of knowing there were so many corrupted videos. The point of a dashcam is for evidence in the case of an accident/insurance claim, so not knowing if video is recorded or not (the camera doesn't give any indication and some videos in the driving session are fine but others are not) makes this product pointless. There's definitely a bug in the software as any working memory card (tested on my gopro and phone) reports file system corruption when it's plugged in to my laptop after being used in this camera.

Reliable but too much cable.
Easy to put together,. It takes a few moments to pair the camera with your phone. Good video quality. There are some issues however. The biggest problem is that there is far to much cable for the rear camera. I guess it would be ok if you have a limousine or other long car. I only have a small car ( Adam) so there is a lot of cable that I have wound up and fastened in the passenger over head hand rail. My wife’s car ( standard Yaris) also has a lot of cable left. A better design would be to have much shorter cable with an optional extra plug in portion. The other issue is the cable is forever falling off. The cable grips are useless.

Great economy camera!
The camera is of satisfactory quality and is easy to install. The wiring is abundant, with enough wire left over after installing the rear camera in the rear of an extended Express van. If you're in search of a dependable and top-notch car dash cam, the EY02 Dash Cam is definitely worth considering. This camera system is built to capture crystal-clear footage of both the front and rear of your vehicle, ensuring that you have a complete record of any incidents or accidents that might occur on the road. One of the most impressive features of the EY02 is its ability to record simultaneously on two channels. This means that you can record both the front and back of your car with ease. Apart from its recording capabilities, the EY02 also comes with a host of other useful features. For instance, it has built-in Wi-Fi, which allows you to connect to the camera using your smartphone. This makes it a breeze to review footage and adjust settings on the go. The camera also comes equipped with a G-sensor, which can detect sudden impacts and automatically save the footage from before and after the impact. All in all, the Dash Cam is an exceptional option for anyone in search of a reliable, high-quality car camera system. Its dual-channel recording capability, wide-angle lenses, and other valuable features make it a wise investment for anyone who wants to stay protected while driving.

V.Good for the price! Fit and forget dashcam.
Bought this when it's true price was £76. It is now £90 with 15% off, which... = £76. So that tell you everything you need to know about marketing. 🤔 That aside, the camera visually looks good, especially when mounted, (doesn't look like a traditional "camera" stuck on a mount). It's relatively small, easy to hide the cables, and attaches to the screen by a sticky mount that itself sticks to an included clear static pad. (Think phone screen protector that goes on your windscreen first) which makes it really easy. It's all plastic construction, but I would think all dashcams are. The setup was really easy, and it came with a micro SD card (iiwey branded). It seems that some folk don't like the app, or how it communicates, but it depends what you want your dashcam to do. If you want a dashcam that sits in your window, records the drive, and you usually only access the recordings in case of an accident - then this does that and more. If you want an action camera that you constantly want to download the drives, for YouTube or whatever, then maybe the app isn't the best. It's a dashcam for £75, not a social media £1k setup. The camera links to your phone as it has no screen , via a phone app. The way it does this is by creating it's own WiFi connection with your phone. So once setup, all you do is open the app, press connect, it should open your phone's WiFi - select the iiwey WiFi connection - and thats it. Hardly too much trouble, and takes seconds. You can then view all the recordings on your phone, you can download them to your phone for viewing away from the car. And remember, you can always remove the micro SD and put it in your computer. The image quality clames to be 4k and use a Sony starvis sensor - wether this is true or not, I don't know, but I can say that the image quality is very good both day and night from the front camera, tha rear camera being average but useable. Speech is recorded clearly. With so many, many dashcams out there at the mo, you pay your money and take a chance. All in all, for £75, I'm impressed. I will be buying iiwey again - especially as the next version up, the EY05 is now on for £100, essentially the same unit but has GPS and voice commands to take photos and lock video. Recommended.
