Would benefit from a more rigid cover
I get through a lot of storyboards and I've tried out pretty well every loose sheet and notebook version available: I've been printing and binding my own for a while out of necessity, too. I used to use them for TV, but these days it's mainly for comics work. This notebook scores very well on page design and paper quality. The panels are laid out well and are flexible enough to use for a variety of visual media. It's got a good balance between the number of panels on the page and the working space within them. Everyone has their preferred layout, but I like between four and six panels on a single page, plus enough space for dialogue and notes, so that I can see the flow without having to keep leafing back and forth. Pencil erases cleanly, too. The paper's even fountain pen friendly, with no feathering or bleeding, although I haven't tested it with art pens. What's not so great is the lightweight cover. I know the only option with CreateSpace is soft covers, but I'd happily pay more for a premium version bound with something more rigid, even if it's just board on the back. To use the notebook comfortably, you need to be sitting at a desk with the book flat and fully open. For various reasons, though, many users won't be working that way. I tried using it on my lap, with the pages folded back, and it was a struggle. The whole notebook flexes, and the natural curve in a book this thick means you can't write across the full width of the "inner" (spine edge) panels very easily. It also gets pretty battered when you put it in a bag. Some soft notebooks are designed to roll up, but they have much more robust covers. It's a good price and a good layout, though, so I'll probably continue using this brand. It's 80% perfect, which is way better than most that I've bought.

Almost perfect
Four shots and four writing boxes per page. Nice and sleek. The quality of the outer cover is lacking and I'm going to reinforce the edges with tape so they dont eventually fray and tear.

Speeds up the process, keeps the flow going!
Great silky paper for fast sketching. Enough lined space to put in scene and shot details. Has organised my storytelling for animation. Brilliant! Love them!

Good quality. As advertised.
I like this book. Got a little bent in delivery, so the packaging could be better. Cover is flimsy as other reviewers have said, however, for sketching purposes, in some ways it's good to have a bendy book, to fit your needs. WIll buy again.
