Received a different moka pot
After extensive research, Minos is the direction I wanted to go for my moka pot. I ordered this model because of the way it looks compared to the others, it holds a reported 12oz, it is easier to clean because of the larger top, AND its base is a little bigger than the other models in order to better accommodate my gas stove. However, I received the model with the color changing silicon grips. I must say, I absolutely love it! Beautiful and brews great coffee. But, it is not what I ordered. It takes forever for my gas stove to heat it up due to the flame having to be so small. I can safely say, that it is a top quality product, made well, looks great, and makes great coffee! I am glad I chose to go with Minos! But, I wished I received the one I ordered.December 2: A nice lady from Minos contacted me named Bianca. They were generous enough to send me a new moka pot to make it right. They sent the wrong one... again. 4 stars for effort.

beautiful finish, and heavy
So, I have to admit that when I purchased this moka pot, I was a little Leary, having used an aluminum moka pot. This one is gorgeous, beautiful finish, and heavy. The top lid is stainless steel also, not some flimsy metal, the pit is solid, the threads are smooth, not rough like on some aluminum moka pots. I'm used to having preheat my old pot before putting on the stove, but the instructions with this moka pot tells you to use cold water, which I did and there was no difference in time between the two in starting to make the coffee. This moka is a little pricey but well worth the investment. Good bye aluminum, hello stainless steel

Nice mocha maker
The capacity says 6 espresso but makes two nice cafe latte (maybe 3 if you prefer your latte not to be strong)

Rusting problems after half a year of use. No response from manufacturer.
Hello, I bought this espresso pot as a present to my wife in May 2018. The bottom part of it started rusting, inside and outside, see pictures, and only after about half a year of use. It seemed like it was made really well, in China, according to some of the responses from Minos. I contacted amazon customer service about rusting problem and they suggested to contact manufacturer directly as the item is still under warranty. Its been about a month now since I emailed Minos Living. There is No response. It makes me wonder if the steel that is used by whoever makes these items in China is even food grade. It is very disappointing to say the least. It is an expensive espresso pot and to have it rust is not acceptable. To have the manufacturer not respond and claim that their items are such high quality is not acceptable. Please do not buy this. Food grade stainless steel is not supposed to rust.

Nice weight, good capacity for water
We've had this for a few weeks and every day my husband says how much he enjoys the quality of this espressor maker. Nice weight, good capacity for water, seals nicely, and even when it is just finished, the handle is still cool!!! An excellent product for the price.

You won't be disappointed!
This item exceeded my expectations in all ways... Quality, materials & fabrication are all excellent plus it makes great coffee! This pot puts its Italian counterparts to shame... An absolute bargain for the price.

Makes 6 espresso shots, not cups.
This is beautiful, however, i thought that 6-cups meant 6-cups. I think it meant 6 of those little espresso cups.

I really like it. The coffee is good and the unit is very heavy and well constructed. I expect years of use.
