my car had not had a transmission oil change since I bought it in 2014. it is a 2008 350z. It got caught in a flood and insurance paid for another engine. 2nd engine ran better than old one. I kept up with regular oil changes but would only add transmission oil as needed. I was always using the Castrol transmax multi-vehical and thought it was good enough. Eventually it started to have a burn scent to it. June of 2020 I decided to spend enough to get the Nissan branded Matic S. I let the Mechanic do the transmission oil change. I have noticed a great difference in the transmission since it got some clean oil. This OEM transmission oil is some good stuff. I was just too cheap to purchase it before. Now I will use what is recommended for my car.
