Best mop ever
After having trouble finding heads for my o cedar, and sever breaking before I even loaded them I went in search for a new mop. I found this with great reviews and I'm in love. Seriously best mop I've ever owned. It really wrongs out the head so you don't over wet your floors, and the mop heads grooves do an awesome job picking up dust, pet hair and whatever. The mop heads don't last as long as a sponge head, but I'm quiet certain that's my fault, I use a lot of bleach.

THE MOST WORTHLESS SPONGE MOP EVER
i wanted to wait and use this sponge mop before I left a review . This particular sponge mop is a total disaster . total waste of money . its so flimsy and cheap . i cant even squeeze out the excess water from the sponge . this sponge mop is a travesty .the handle is a total joke . it wont stay extended. it would be great for a very small and short person to use but not for some one like me who is nearly 6 foot tall . i threw alot of money way buying this sponge mop. it is one of the most disappointing items i have bought in years ! there is nothing good to say about this piece of junk sponge mop . shameful and disgraceful product .

Excellent quality, solid design, and great at cleaning dog and cat hair!
The first thing I noticed is how high quality the product felt. I've bought similar products in the past, but this one definitely feels a lot more commercial grade. It has a strong adjustable aluminum handle that doesn't feel like it will bend easily. The rollers are made out of heavy duty hard plastic. The PVA sponge is nice and dense and feels like it will last a long time. Just make sure you soak it for about 5 minutes on your initial use. Whoever designed this product really thought of everything. The rollers are ribbed, and does a really good job removing dirt and hair while simultaneously wringing out excess water. It's lightweight aluminum, so it is not as tiring to push around. I used to own a similar stainless steel mop, and this mop is significantly lighter. I also like that the roller mechanisms are made of plastic. Our previous mop had metal parts that started to rust after about 6 months, and the rust would soak into the sponge. I don't have to worry about that with this mop. The best part of this product is how effective it is at lifting dirt and hair off of our tile and laminate floors. We have a Dyson V8 Animal vacuum, but this mop picked up tons of dirt and pet hair that the Dyson left behind. The sponge has deep ridges in it, which easily traps any loose hair. I did not encounter any color bleeding of the sponge that others have mentioned. It's a solid product, and well worth the price.

This Yellow-Head Mop is the Real Deal
ANOTHER UPDATE:Due to my first review, regarding the green head mop, the seller sent me a new, yellow head, mop and three replacement heads. I, finally, out of desperation, decided to try it last night. It did a great job. Besides not bleeding, it, actually, picked up cat fur and other debris and rinsed clean. I didn't even sweep beforehand. It didn't leave streaks and all the water was squeezed out of it.The green head looks dirty and nothing I did would clean it. I still am giving this yellow head mop 4 stars because, unlike the original X10, it left my floors more wet than I would have liked. It also did not clean spots that were stuck on without my having to turn it on it's side. In it's defense, though, I hadn't mopped my floor for quite some time. One other item is, the handle was difficult to pull up. Other than that, I'm happy with it's performance as it did clean my floor with just water. It even cleaned up grease in the front of my stove.UPDATE: I wonder when this mop will stop bleeding green, and I have used it numerous times. I would have thought, by now, that the bleeding would have stopped. It also is softer than the original X10 model. It does not pick up debris like my other one. I wish I could find that one again. I changed from a 5 star to a 4 star because I don't think this mop will last a third of the time my last one did and the other two things I mentioned.I was searching for a PVA mop like the one I had before. I had that one for over 10 years. The handle kept turning and the sponge became hard. It got left behind when we moved.I found this model on a web site that described what I was looking for, but it seemed to be even better. I had been looking on Amazon also. I found an offer of, what was supposed to be, four of other models. I selected them and put them in my cart-I thought. But when I went to my cart, this one was in it instead. After checking out the description and the picture, and recognizing the seller to be from that web site, I realized this was the Super PVA Mop I was looking for. I was thrilled. Thank you, Amazon. How can a person be so thrilled about a mop? Well. I have one of those rag ones that is supposed to clean my floor. All it did was to push the water around and leave streaks. I tried other ones, but they were more of a pain in the neck than worth anything. Like I said, I had one, like this, before. When I received this mop, I thought I would have to assemble it. When I opened the box, I was suprised to find It was already assembled. It is exactly what I wanted. The handle is very sturdy and telescopes for high cleaning and even works for windows. The sponge is different than the one I had before, though. It is, for a lack of a better word, spongier. My last one had a plastic handle, not metal, like this one is. I like that I can use the telescope feature for shorter chores, and, with a slight twist, it locks really well. After soaking, as instructed, I used it the next day. This little treasure picked up all the cat hair and debris while I mopped. This was a test. When I finished, there was a load of cat hair and debris in my sink stopper. My last one did the same thing. Due to not having a decent mop, and not being able to clean on my knees anymore, I had not been able to clean it for quite some time. That was no problem for this PVA mop. Because it is so easy to use, by just using rinse water, I will be cleaning it a lot now. The one thing different about this one is, it doesn't have a scratchy side to it. I miss having that feature as some things were stuck so hard it was difficult to remove them, at first. But I just turned it to it's side and pushed. That took care of the problem.I used my last one for when I was a manager/caretaker of apt. buildings. I had a flood from water running over a sink due to one of the residents leaving a rag in it. It had no problems soaking up the water and cut my work time way down. I used it numerous times to clean the laundry rooms and vacancies. It even cleaned up grease! Try that with a string or rag mop.I like the double roller feature and pulling the lever is easy peasy, squeezing out the extra water. It also picks up spills rather well. This one is flimsier and I suspect I will have to replace the head once a year. There is only one thing I noticed, which did not happen with my last one-it turned the water green. Also, where I set it in my tub, to dry, are green stripes. I would imagine they can be cleaned. Speaking of the tub, I will also use this to clean it. Since you can shorten the handle, it will make that job a lot easier. I am also going to use it for cleaning my shower and bathroom walls. I will try it for my windows, too.I would suggest you check with your ACE hardware store. They don't have this model. But they will order the Rubbermaid one, if you ask them. I recommend this mop, if you don't mind waiting. It was shipped and delivered within the time frame. I was surprised, however, to find the top of the box partly untaped and the box, itself was banged up. I think that was because of the shipping company, not the seller, super mop. Make sure, if you want this one, to buy from them. They are an awesome company.

Disappointed in quality and usability
Sorry I can't agree with other users of this sponge mop. After being on an eternal search for the right sponge mop which is recommended for my new engineered hardwoods I feel like it's always a dead end. The ease of use for this mop is very disappointing. Instead of gliding over the floor it is resistant and hard to push/ pull causing a "skidding" effect. The sponge also makes so much clicking noise and swivels to such a point I wonder if it will soon just break off. My problem with most sponge mops is that you can't squeeze out enough water thereby wetting the first area you mop too much. Also, I don't have a lot of area rugs and all sponge mops including this one are not wide enough. A large area needs more than a 12" sponge. I feel like I have a child's size mop. This mop may work for others but I found it mediocre as I have most I have tried.
