Ideal for pattern drafting and dressmaking
Like a fool I had bought tracing paper from the stationers up until now - well, no more! This paper has the ideal weight, finish and width to handle all but the hugest of pattern pieces, and will be all I use from now on for my sewing pattern needs.

Perfect for tracing sewing patterns
This is thick, sturdy tracing paper. It’s nothing like the flimsy, floppy, tissue thin stuff the sewing shops sell. It comes rolled up in a sturdy tube. It’s wide enough to trace A0 sewing patterns and it’s easy to see the lines through the paper. The surface is smooth so the pencil glides over the lines I’m tracing. The paper is thick so there’s no need to worry about the pencil puncturing it. It rolls and folds easily. It’s absolutely perfect for tracing off sewing patterns and while £20 may seem like a lot, I’ve found it to be an absolute bargain. I no longer hesitate to trace patterns - it’s so much easier than mucking about with the tissue paper stuff that most people use.

Brilliant Quality Tracing Paper
I have ordered this roll several times now and I have been extremely happy each time. I use it for large scale drawings and art projects, whether it's for exhibition work or just drawing in my studio, so I need a strong paper that will not tear when hung up on a wall or displayed in an exhibition for lengths of time, but also translucent; this paper is both! It has a wonderful even translucency, and is very crisp and smooth and almost with a plasticy feel, but not in a way that makes it feels cheap but in the fact that it is very high quality drafting paper. It comes in a strong sturdy, tube so there is no risk of it being damaged when not in use, and it is extremely good value when you get 20 metres of really high quality paper for such a low price.

Very good for pattern tracing
I bought this for tracing dressmaking patterns. It’s thick and sturdy, but still flexible enough for laying on fabrics and pinning. It’s quite narrow but easy enough to stick pieces together

Perfect dressmaking tracing paper!
This was EXACTLY what I wanted for dress pattern tracing and the same as they use in the YouTube videos Made to Sew. It’s beautiful to work with and looks really good when you’ve finished. Good for pattern matching as it is sheer enough. I haven’t tried ironing it and will try to keep the pattern pieces flat but the tracing stuff I bought recently from a haberdashery was simply folded clear plastic and pretty useless really. On this you can use a pencil and also run out any mistakes. It’s a big role and the width is good for adult dressmaking sizes.Top marks!!!

Inspired to write first ever review- that’s how good it is....
I bought this for dressmaking after using the more traditional tissue tracing paper. When it arrived in a fairly narrow roll I was a bit disappointed thinking the whole palaver of cutting and taping even before starting to trace would quickly wear thin. From first use I was converted. It cuts cleanly and tapes together securely to be more accurate and less wasteful but more important more manoeuvrable. It manipulates really well when making pattern adjustments and is really durable. I have a few go-to patterns and where tissue would have disintegrated through pinning and cutting, I’m able to re-use over and over. Just reordered and can’t see me using anything else in the future.

Not very useful for me
I bought this after a recommendation from a fellow sewist, it's used to trace off sewing patterns, but actually I didn't get on with it at all and cannot recommend it for this purpose. I will return to Swedish tracing paper. This stuff is too stiff and baulky and difficult to store. I usually like to fold my traced offer pattern pieces within the pattern envelope, but this stuff won't allow it to be folded, it rolls up better but I can't store rolls. This would be great for someone with lots of storage!I feel bad as I've wasted 26 quid, this will be going into my loft as I can see no purpose for it.

Durable, good quality and value
I use this for dressmaking, I trace patterns into it and customise/adjust them. I then use them over and over. This is great quality, not too thick or thin, tapes together easily and doesn't tear. I've ordered the same stuff 3 times now and will continue to buy this as it does exactly what I need it to. Good value too.
