Excellence Age Perfect 6.35 Light Warm Auburn Hair Dye

Not at all the colour on the picture. It's a reddish/brown in real. Not sure why it is advertised as age perfect - the same effect like other chemical hair dyes - flattens your hair for the first few washes which I hate, later it is ok. Would not buy again.

More light brown than auburn, but apart from colour being completely wrong its very nice to use and kind to hair

only left on 20mins opposed to the instructed 30, i used this colour after i’d stripped, bleached and dyed blonde (ash to neutralise brassiness) as my hair was very dark before, and i am pleased with the results

Colour is considerably darker than expected from box details - light reddish brown expected, dark brown was what actually happened, and instructions were followed to the letter. I would be a lot more careful as to what colour to choose in the future

Yes, mine came out a bit darker, too. However, I did leave it on a few minutes more than I should have done & it looks much lighter out of doors! I'll try a few minutes less next time. Timing is always questionable: do you time from when you've finished the application or when you started? The colour is MUCH admired & the texture of my hair after use was wonderful - far better than any other colourant I have ever used. I have mid-length hair & had plenty of solution to use. There was no unpleasant odour & my skin was not stained. The comb applicator for edges was quite good but I found it impossible to take it through the length of my hair when thickened by the colouring mousse. On balance I give it an enthusiastic endorsement & am ordering more.

Liked the gel consistency so it did not drip. Did not like that the color was darker than pictured on back of box.
