I have been using this slicker brush through recommendations. I have an Alaskan Malamute with a double coat, other slicker brushes have the prongs bent after a few uses, I have had this one and this is much more sublime in feel, and stronger prongs. A Malamute coat is extremely bushy, and he sheds his coat/ blows his coat several times a year filling 2-3 black bin liners. Grooming can take two hours or more if done correctly. I do him myself, and only been to the groomers once for now, as I like looking after him. For Malamutes you do need three kinds of brushes and comb to do him correctly. Firstly buy a metal comb Second this slicker brush Third an undercoat rake The fur is beautiful once using these tools, and this slicker brush for my Mal is excellent, he likes it. It isn’t brutal and doesn’t hurt like some cheaper ones. Very easy to extract the dead fur, and remove to the bin liner. I found out about this slicker brush by going online to see what other owners use for showing their dogs in championship competitions, this one came up all the time. When holding, this slicker brush feels lovely. This is highly recommended for dogs like mine, and hairy dogs, this is a no brainer. I have had this brush a fair while now before doing this review, the best money I have paid. I have a large long haired Romanian shepherd dog and this brush goes through her double coat with ease. She has a tendency for knots and tangles and this really helps. It is a quality brush, sometimes takes several clicks to self clean because of her furs texture, but otherwise am very pleased. With my smaller dog the self clean works perfectly.

It's a great brush and the button to remove the hair is brilliant. The only negative is that it's really too big for a small dog. Maybe they could mention that fact before purchase.

This is a great brush for dogs, my sons dog is a big white short haired dog and you wouldnt think it would shed so much hair but dear lord it does, this brush was just brilliant at removing those hairs, then just push a button when your done brushing your dog and the brush teeth retracts in and then you're left with a little dog haired mini blanket. 🤣Loved this brush that's why I have giving it 5 Stars, great dog brush and very reasonably priced.

I think I have bought nearly every grooming tool on the market. I bought this brush hoping that it will help prevent my cats double coat from matting. The last vets bill was almost £600.00 . From the little I’ve been able to use it it seems to work well. However, despite being 11 years old, my cat views every grooming tool as a plaything. Unfortunately he plays with claws and teeth. Grooming my cat is a very painful and bloody experience for me. Therefore it’s difficult to give a comprehensive review.

Our Maine-coone is 5 months and already quite large. So this brush is ideal for his very long fur. Simple to operate, like many other similar design brushes. This one in particular has angled stipples so the brush strokes can only go one direction, which is good and bad at the same time. You’ll know if you’re cat always faces towards you when grooming, you end up using the brush backwards. It doesn’t hurt the cat its just weird. But the cat loves it! The width of the brush is quite large yet the actual useable brush area is very small, there’s an unnecessary amount of plastic “real estate” around the working area… and it is stupid. Check out the pics, you’ll see what I mean. Not to mention the 4 button head screws! Whilst my cat loves it, it gets a bit awkward for me, now and again. But most of the time it is great. Use it as part of a selection of grooming brushes. I also use it to brush out fur from the other regular brushes. It works a treat and retracts with a satisfying click. Great quality item, a bit plasticky. seamless assembly and feels tough, although I wouldn’t want to drop it on a hard floor. It has a rubber grip handle, which is great given that I don’t like touching the plastic bits!.. for some reason Highly Recommended for your large hairy cat, because it does a great job. Please improve the design on the housing

J’ai testé pas mal de brosses pour chats, mais celle-ci sort clairement du lot. Mon chat n’est pas toujours très coopératif quand il s'agit de toilettage, mais avec la Hertzko, ça passe beaucoup mieux. Les picots sont suffisamment souple pour ne pas irriter la peau, tout en attrapant bien les poils morts. Le gros plus, c’est le système autonettoyant. On appuie sur le bouton, la plaque se rétracte, et les poils s’enlèvent d’un coup, sans avoir à galérer à les retirer à la main. Vraiment pratique au quotidien, surtout quand on brosse souvent. Bonne prise en main, facile à nettoyer, et solide dans le temps. Un excellent accessoire pour entretenir le pelage de son chat sans prise de tête.

Wir haben ein Britisch langhaar mit viiiiiel Fell . Ich habe nur ganz kurz gebürstet.(nicht mal eine Minute) Ich war positiv überrascht wieviel die Bürste in der kurzen Zeit raus hatte. Mein Kater lässt sich nicht gerne kämmen aber das ging ohne Probleme. Unser Kitten (Norwegische Waldkatze) hat sich ebenfalls gut kämmen lassen . Ich kann sie echt nur empfehlen. Sie sieht auch aus als wäre die Qualität gut. Sie liegt gut in der Hand . Das reinigen ist dank des Knopfes ein Kinderspiel . Da ja jeder was negatives hören will… hier kommt es . Mein Kopf klackert etwas . Mich und die Katzen stört es aber nicht . Aber irgendjemand findet es vielleicht schrecklich . Also hab ich es mal erwähnt bevor jemand entsetzt ist 😉 Über den Blitzversand muss ich glaub ich nichts sagen . Amazon ist unschlagbar . Gestern bestellt und heute da . 🫶🏻 Für mich war und ist die Bürste jeden Cent wert .
