The sponges are the size and depth of a very small sliced loaf.No idea why they are so expensive unless they are indestructible.Have not had them long enough to tell yet.

we've been using these sponges for 8 months now, we don't have a dish washer so i use them daily.when i researched cellulose sponges it said that they can be washed at 40 degrees so when the sponges have been used for a while and doesn't feel clean anymore i just pop it in a hot wash with other laundry and they come out really well. i think i wash them twice before they get too ragged and we have to bin them. once the sponge is discoloured it gets retired and we use them for all cleaning tasks like windows and bathroom ect and they last the same. and i dont feel bad binning them as the are compostable! yay!

The media could not be loaded.  This is ideal for someone with limited storage space. It takes no space when compressed but expands really quick. Cleans nicely and is so good to know is biodegradable.

Absolutely love these sponges! I've been looking for something that is absorbent and biodegradable, and these are both. Fantastic product - so pleased to have found it . Needs to be more widely available. I've already been recommending to my friends.Plus, it's amazing to watch the sponges expand the first time you introduce them to water!Fast delivery, too.

I was delighted to find these dried cellulose sponges as I find them the best for sweeping clean polished granite. The thicker the better as they do not last long if they are too thin and these are. I have not measured them so am assuming that they are as described but it sure does not look like it.

Arrived very quickly and do the job. They are cheap but work well. Have been very impressed and bought more

When hydrated, this swells out to a small sponge. Useful.

These are smaller that the standard Spandex ones that you can buy in the supermarket.
