I love this mirror for travel because it will stand up anywhere you need it. I like my mirror at eye level, so when I'm not in my home, I can always find a place to position the mirror to apply my make up. It can also be used as a hand mirror. The size is perfect - not small where you can only see 1/4 of your face. The magnification is perfect for me and there's no distortion. I have two of them - one for home and one for travel. The travel mirror has held up well being juggled around in my make up case (inside my luggage) for many years and lots of trips.

Great product! Second time purchasing.I wanted to chime in about a couple of issues others had experienced but I have not: the mirror I just received had three stickers on the mirror surfaces. All peeled off easily and left no residue.The magnifying side (10x) does not distort when held about 8” from face which works perfectly for my purposes.Highly recommended!

Pros:+Pretty decent diameter offers good amount of view+It looks great on its first days+double sided mirror with 2 different zoom types+Hinge rotates back and forth so the stand holds both waysCons:-Not fog-free-The screws on the hinge do rust-Handle is flimsyI got this mirror thinking a fog free mirror with a stand that can be hung on the shower head or left on the side of the tub standing would be a very ideal shaving mirror. Turns out that fake claim that this mirror is fog free really ruined my shaves, it fogs so easily by the time it takes the water heater and cold water to mix into warm water the mirror is already fogged up. I had a $1 mirror from the Dollar Store that didn't fog up as much as the Ultra Vue mirror does, you just can't see your face. As I recall with my $1 mirror I could splash some of the warm water on it and the image would instantly clear up for a minute, this does not work for the Ultra Vue. On the second week the screw on the hinge started rusting, its rusted bad enough the hinge wont budge easily and that's when I found out how flimsy the handle was. The handle did crackling noises as you applied torque on the hinge. That acrylic handle you see on the mirror is actually hollow on the inside, so not only the handle itself is hollow but also those tubes are hollow too, be sure not to force them or they will crack. I over payed for this mirror, don't let it happen to you.

The mirror itself is wonderful, however the handle is fragile and I am an older woman who is gentle with the use of this mirror. THis is my second one, the first I was able to crazy glue the handle together to get a solid year or two, the newest own purchased in August , there is no way to salvage the handle. It is a shame they cannot find a handle that can withstand daily normal use.
