Q: Do these paints work on leather

Never tried it but I wouldn't have thought so, this set is Vallejo inks which are basically used to complement pewter or plastic models that have already had acrylic paint applied to them.

Q: Does this paint work on touchup on cars

If you mean scale model cars, no. If you mean real motor cars, no. The name says it all, it's ink, thinner than Twiggys sister.

Q: Can they be used on metal cars?

Yes, with a but. These acrylic paints are specifically designed to be used on miniatures which are generally made from resin, plastic, lead, "white lead" and pewter. Using them on matchbox/hot wheels type cars will vary depending on the surface of the car, whether it is metal or plastic or pre-painted and varnished. There is an entire hobby dedicated to painting toy cars (Gaslands is the game) and many of those players use acrylic paints for their cars. The most important think if using vallejo on toy cars would be 1) get your primer done right. 2) get your thinning done right. You might want to research those two things if you are a beginner.
