Q: Is this product fully organic?

Yes. Apart from the vemiculite for drainage which is inert anyway. Great stuff with several good elements to it. My bulbs have thrived now for two winters and now showing for the third winter, and that's not happened before. Still highly recommend.

Q: Is it of value to hyacinths grown in bulb fibre indoors for a Christmas display please?

It's certainly good for bulbs grown in pots and containers, it has fungi which encourages growth. I don't know if this would have an effect in 'bulb fibre' media but I would give it a go personally as I've had good experience with outdoor pots. Maybe check Sarah Raven's website for a video of her potting indoor hyacinths - she certainly recommends using it in her videos of planting outdoor displays so she will likely have experience with indoor use too.

Q: can I use this product on edible bulbs like garlic?

There's nothing in it that will be bad for you to use on them, but it may be a bit of a waste as I imagine you will harvest the garlic bulb at the end of the season. This is much more worth it for plants you leave in the ground for years, helping them to grow healthily over a longer time. Plants take a while to develop the symbiotic relationship with these mycorrhizal fungi (hence the planting instructions) and so your garlic probably will not have time to benefit fully.

Q: how much would I need

I would concur with the earlier response although it would depend upon the size of the bulb. Smaller bulbs or corms, such as Crocus, Triteleia etc. you would probably get 3-5 per 10g.
