This is a wonderful tea! It's so toasty and comforting. I ordered it after spending years of searching for this type of tea. As someone who doesn't care for hot drinks, this is an exception. It's nice to drink in the cold weather and I'm looking forward to having it chilled once summer rolls around!My only qualm about it is the pricing. I'm aware I purchased this during the pandemic, so prices are becoming more inflated by the day. Honestly though, it's not enough to hurt how I feel about the purchase.I'm definitely buying this again. :)Story:When I was a child, a family from South Korean moved next door to me. I was friends with their daughters and we were really close. Unfortunately, they moved over an hour away and I was unable to see them.The first time I was able to see them again, their father and youngest daughter came to pick me up so I could stay the weekend with them.It was mid to late evening when we reached the halfway point and the father decided to stop at a Korean restaurant to have dinner together. I remember the waiter bringing out these large glasses with a warm golden liquid in it, which my friend and her dad drank happily.Being a young child who had little experience with foreign foods, I sniffed the drink and my friend assured me it was good. I sipped it and was unsure what to think at first. I guessed it was tea, but I had never had anything but sweet southern tea, so I was confused. I was thirsty though, so I kept drinking. Before I knew it, I finished the cup halfway through the meal.This was my first taste of barley tea and it stayed with me to this day, 15 years later. While I unfortunately no longer have contact with the family anymore, this tea takes me back to my childhood.

I personally don’t like rooibos tea on its own due to the bitter aftertaste, but this tea being mixed with barley makes it much more pleasant and enjoyable to drink. Rooibos and barley both don’t contain caffeine, and due to the health benefits, this tea is perfect to drink after meals to help with digestion. I also believe rooibos also has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties.I recommend brewing 1 tea bag in 100ml of water. This brews well in both cold and hot water. Since this has 50 tea bags, I think it is pretty inexpensive!

I found this tea while looking for tasty options for more hydration in addition to plain water or seltzers. This tea is a great choice. It's delicious hot or cold and the scent is reminiscent of an ice cream waffle cone. It *does* take longer steeping to get a deep color, but it's worth the extra time. I've also cold-brewed this tea very successfully overnight. If you're interested in boosted your hydration, and adding more healthy benefits, give this wonderful tea a try!

Great way to get off the coffee while staying hydrated all day. The savory roast flavor is satisfying in different way than other tea. The best part about this specific product is the single serving tea bags.

Barley tea is not a strong tea. It's a casual, mellow tasting tea you can drink all day long.This tea reminds me of the complimentary "house" tea that is sometimes served in Korean and Japanese restaurants. I love it.(Note: Comments that this tea is weak are from people who do not understand barley tea.)
