I bought some leather like sandals from Amazon back in the summer of 2022. Noticed that they do stink during the warm summer months. I did not do anything about it, probably since I bought them in the late summer. After a fall/winter of wearing warmer house slippers. I broke out sandals again. Really noticed the smell after wearing for a short period of time. Especially after I go to bed at night. I put my sandals near the edge of the bed. Whooo weee, it can stink. Which is common for sandals by the way. Not complaining about the sandals themselves. It was a good buy. The first day I used the odor deodorizer was when I went to bed. The smell went away. It even lasts for more than a day. I do not have to use it every night. It has a spray and stream option. The product itself does not have an odor at all. That's why I rated the scent as one star. Looks like a nice amount of spray that will last for awhile.

Have used a couple other similar products, but Sweat-X has proven to be the best for my needs. Use it on my hockey gear, and it definitely keeps the stink out. Last time I was stuck with a different product, I noticed that gear was still getting smelly after use. My process is to spray gear down and set out in front of a fan to dry after each use. But with competitor, was still noticing the usual 'hockey smell' lingering. That went away when I finally got back to this product. Will not bother with others anymore, that was a definite proving point for me.

Doesn't work well with just a few sprays. You really do need to soak the item like it says. But the smell is nice and mild, I'm prone to migraines from smells and this didn't irritate me at all. Great for backpack straps after a long sweaty hike.

Product works ok, but the sprayer mists the product, so it ricochets off the garment so you need to spray more for it to be effective. Wish the sprayer was more direct rather than misty. Breathing it in is not pleasant even though the smell is nice

I love this deodorizer for my shoes. I like to spray it in my running, climbing, and daily wear shoes around once a month. I wear my climbing shoes without socks so it’s easy to build up a smell but this spray has helped eliminate that so much. And the value, can’t be beat. You don’t need a lot of spray for each use so this will last awhile

Too expensive, takes forever to dry (I wore my work shoes wet one day because they still hadn’t dried after about 7 hours), and, most importantly, does not work at all. Getting the smell out of my work shoes was going to be tough, my feet sweat a lot and apparently my work shoes completely absorbed every drop of it, so I would have understood if this spray hadn’t of gotten rid of THAT smell, even after spraying my work shoes 5 times in 2 days. I wear a hat at work as well and, despite the fact that I wash my hat once a week and it smells like nothing at all afterwards, this spray does nothing for the sweat smell from my hat after spraying it daily for 3-4 days. Absolute waste of money.

My kids play a ton of sports I use this one their cleats and pads it does help with the smell and it’s overwhelming just smells fresh!
