Good value
Good value for money. It’s not exactly the most sturdy thing but for £70 who cares? It’s great for storing odds and sodds, screwdrivers etc and as an extra work surface when needed.I have secured it to the wall for extra stability which I would recommend anyone to do regardless, it only takes a screw and cable tie if you can’t bolt it in.Instructions were terrible but that’s usually the case with this sort of thing, it was missing a few nuts and bolts but it’s entirely possible I lost them in my fumbling around. Over all not a bad purchase, bit of confusion with delivery but that was entirely my own fault so no real complaints.

Steer clear, unless you're willing to get "creative"
This almost killed the delivery driver. Warning, it is a very heavy boxed package. It is well packed, and unpacks very well too. That is where the good stuff ends.I needed a bench for my "den" where I have my pc and 3D printer and now want to start assembling and making models. I didn't want to pay a fortune but I wanted something that would do everything I needed. This had a recesses top shelf (which would be ideal for concealed lighting)It had a good sized work space. It had a peg board for hanging tools onIt had a large drawer. It had a bottom shelfIt costs less than £70 - what could go wrong?I count myself as very good DIY'er and fortunately have a lot of different tools (which I needed to get this contraption together.)It should have been much simpler.Firstly, the instruction booklet has some of the most ambiguous and incredibly small diagrams I have ever seen. VERY difficult to figure out which way round the various parts are assembled. The frame is quite flimsy and gets most of it's strength from the MDF work top, which you only install last, so keeping it together as you assemble it is not easy.I was doing this my own by the way. For your own sanity and safety I would suggest you get help, if only to hold various bits while you try to figure out how to put them together.I have included some photos of bits I managed to figure out myself (no help from the instruction book) hopefully this will help others? You will need a large T square to help you get the angles of the frame at 90 degrees before you do the final tightening up of all the screws. If you don't get it square then you WILL have issues fitting the work tops and shelves. The top shelf was a major pain to figure out. It's made of 5mm hardboard and the instructions are not clear on how the top shelf frame fits to the back stand. As the hardboard is very thin the screws provided would poke through the shelf if fitted as per the photos in Amazons product listing page. Even looking at these photos you can see there are two different images showing two different ways the screws for the frame are positioned. This is the most frustrating thing about this product - even their literature and advertising is messed up.In the end I have resorted to gluing the hardboard to the top of the frame with No More Nails. It works. The next REALLY big issue is the drawer assembly.Seriously, if anything was designed to make you want to take a sledgehammer to it then is is definitely it!The runners DO NOT LINE UP no matter which holes you chose to use.Eventually I had to drill my own holes, which due to the flimsiness of the metal was quite easy to do.However, the sliding mechanism is very poor and flimsy and you have to take care opening and closing the drawer. All that said, once assembled in a fashion it is a decent workbench to have. Even if the drawer didn't work at all it would still be worth £70 to me.But it should have been much simpler to put together. The instructions are rubbish, the fit of all the parts is adequate for the most part but atrocious in a few places. The quality of the finished assembly is adequate but it will depend on the creativeness and patience of the person putting it all together.Good luck - have fun and remember, there is always beer!

Reasonably priced workbench
Bought this for a specific purpose. You need to study the instructions carefully as they are not totally clear. Also set out the fixings first, as there are different sizes. That said, I managed to assemble it ok and was pleased with the overall finished bench. It is not heavy duty, but it suits my needs. It has a useful drawer and lower shelf. The backing board also has hooks to hang bits and pieces. There were some screws missing but fortunately I had some to complete. Overall though I'm happy with my purchase.

Workbench
Insructions too small and unclear in many areas.Shortage of main screws. The runners need to show a dimension from back end of runner to end of side suoport.

Stress
I consider myself a flat pack champion. This had me stressed. The manual has clearly been written by someone who’s first language isn’t English, the illustrations don’t match the written instructions, sometimes it will say things like ‘using bolts washers and nuts as shown’ and there won’t be anything shown. The illustrations are small with no orientations identified, I had this bolted together and taken apart so many time like “nope that goes the other way” I got there in the end and tbh it’s not bad looking but there are improvements I’ll make myself for durability, the front panel of the drawer is flimsy as a folded piece of tin foil. I wouldn’t recommend if your not a flat pack kinda person or happy to make upgrades to it yourself.Good luck!

Instructions are poor
Nice workbench but the assembly instructions make it very difficult to assemble. Had to take it apart at least three times to get the various parts the right way around, The drawings are too small and black and white - the picture of the finished workbench is too small to see what way around things are.all in all just needs much better assembly pictures and instructions and would save a lot of wasted time.
