The Paris Concert

This live show really takes off from the word go, there is a varied well balanced programme that admirably features every one and the solos are first rate. There is actually so much going on in this performance that you keep forgetting that there are only three people up there creating all this sound.

HAVING ONLY EVER LISTENED TO LARRY ACCOMPANIED BY BIGGER BANDS WITH KEYBOARDS,ETC; I WAS INTRIGUED AS TO HOW HE WOULD PERFORM WITH JUST A GUITAR/BASS/DRUMS LINE-UP ; I NEED NOT HAVE WORRIED!!AS USUAL HIS PLAYING IS PHENOMENAL AND HIS RYTHYM SECTION, WHICH INCLUDES HIS SON TRAVIS ON BASS,WAS AMAZING; I HAD NOT HEARD OF DRUMMER TOSS PANOS BEFORE BUT HE WAS ALSO A REVELATION.GREAT SELECTION OF JAZZ,BLUES AND LARRYS OWN COMPOSITIONS,THE TRIO MAKE A HUGE MUSICAL IMPACT WHICH IS JUSTIFIABLY WELL APPRECIATED BY THE FRENCH AUDIENCE.A TRULY SUPERB RELEASE FROM THE SESSION GUITARIST EXTRAORDINAIRE PLAYING IN HIS OWN RITE.

No mistaking Larry Carlton's talent superb music, all tracks are very good a lovely bit of jazz, well worth it

It doesn't get any better than this. A simple trio - guitar, bass, and drums - playing music that's anything but simple, and still making it look like it is. Wonderful.
