I've made a lot of build it yourself robot kits. This is hands down the easiest and one of the most fun.Building takes about 20 minutes, requires no tools and then set up is about another 5-10 while you think you've done it then go back and read the instructions to do it properly.After you've built it and set it up you can start drawing with it. It's super easy for children and both my 3 year old and 6 year old were playing with it in moments. They liked the remote control software and the click and go one. My daughter (6yo) was interested in the coding side and has played with the scratch like interface, making various shapes.My son (3yo) said as he went to bed "that robot is really cool". So all in all I think it was a hit.

This is a great toy. It was not difficult to assemble - the on line instructions were very clear - and then instantly worked. The wifi connected immediately and the bot worked. The parts had been precisely cut out so that it all slotted together perfectly - and was robust. Hats off to the creators - would recommend. My son is 10 and built it with a small amount of help. He could independently work it. Would be fun for a teenager too.
