This is the latest mat I’ve purchased since I redid both my bathrooms in 2015, and I finally have a winner. It can be cut to fit; my tub floor surface is exactly half the size, so I’ll have a second mat when I want to replace the first. Cutting it was simple, from the Bach with a pair of scissors. The non-skid backing stayed put, both when I stepped in, and more importantly, when the floor was soapy. Since it doesn’t have suction cups, it was easy to pick up and rinse after my shower, too. Best, I never felt like I might fall while using it, which hadn’t been the case with any previous mat. I definitely recommend this mat, especially for hard-to-fit shower sizes.My master bath has a walk-in tub with a large drain at the front. The space available for a mat so it doesn’t cover either drain or the floor air jets is smaller than any standard mat (about 15” x 18” to avoid the air jets) and the floor of the tub is a textured acrylic to which nothing adheres. Suction cups on standard mats don’t stick; they feel stuck well, until I move. I next bought a natural rubber mat that stayed put slightly better, mostly because it was so heavy, but it was also too large and couldn’t be trimmed easily, so I had to keep the excess fan-folded, difficult to clean, and would occasionally slip. I have waist-length hair, and conditioner on the acrylic floor is a slipping hazard, but no mat both fit and stayed put. I was just about to look for old-school adhesive strips, even though I knew the adhesive would damage the acrylic, when I found this mat. I was a little concerned about the texture and how it would feel on bare feet, but it’s softer than it looked. I have the same problem with mats adhering to the bottom of my guest bathroom tub, as well, so I may try the other half of it in the tub there and see how it is to sit on. I wouldn’t often use it, but it would be good for occasional company if it’s comfortable. I’ll try to update this after I try it in the regular tub.

First thing I discovered was the major difference beween manufactureres in quality of material, thickness, drainage, softness and the non slip features. Trust me on this one, I am very particular when it comes to quality and gettig the best there is for my money ! We have a very large modern shower and I am handicapped, so non slippage is very imporant. Ours drain is dead center and this non slip mat covers it. It drains perfectly without having to cut any holes. It is over a half inch thick and is soothing to your feet and the high quality loofah feels great, is safe and helps your feet. next important thing is "NO SUCTION CUPS" to hurt your feet and make your tub or shower look nasty. Sure makes us older folks feel safe from slipping or falling. I rarely go into this much detail on review, but the safety and comfort of this item is very important. I just ordered another for our other bathroom. You will really enjoy tthe feeling when your feet sink into the thick layer of loofah without fear of slipping and falling ( you know what I mean ). Unlike most of the shower mats I've looked at, I like the fact you can't trim this one to size if you need to. It's also sufficiently larger than most. Suction seems to be good and water flows through relatively easy. My one gripe about it is it does retain a fair amount of water and it's hard to get out. If you toss it in the dryer you will soak your dryer, so air drying seems to be the only way to go or sopping up the excess with a towel or something. I would have preferred an even looser weave in this regard. Still debating whether I will keep or not. If you put in the dryer on medium heat when new, it will remove the shipping creases fwiw.

This mat is great because it's extra-long, so you can cut it to fit the length and contour of your bathtub. Having the mat running the full length of my bathtub floor prevents it from slowly slipping toward the drain, a problem I've noticed in other, shorter mats. The only downside to mats of this type is that you have to be sure to rinse them out and hang them to dry after every use; if you don’t, mold will start to grow in the spongy mesh. I learned the hard way not to put mats like this in the wash. It will destroy the mat, so don't do that lol.

Purchased this thinking it was a mat for when you get out of the shower. I just put it down for the use I intended, not on the shower floor, stepping out. To my surprise, We like it. The only issue is it throws off a chemical smell, but has dissipated.

I love that it doesn't have suction cup that can get moldy if you don't bleach them often. This one I just pick up and rinse off and even my daughters long hair rinses right off and doesn't get caught in the suction cups cause there are NONE.

I was feeling a bit unsteady in the shower so I bought this mat. It absolutely does the job…it is really a wonderful product. I feel very secure and have no fear of slipping.You will not be unhappy with this purchase. Five star.

This mat feels so good to your feet, perfect size for our stand-in shower, cleans easily & drys quickly. Really like that this mat does not have suction cups and we still feel safe while bathing. Would recommend!

Was good too much money tho

Best bath mat I have purchased in a while, just needs a bit more suction to adhere to the tub. But I would buy again.

Works well for people with mobility or sight challenges.

Lo compré para mi abuela. Es antiderrapante, se adhiere muy bien al piso mojado y es muy grande, casi abarca el piso de la regadera completo. No hace charco aunque tape el desagüe. Muy recomendable.
