Great Camera for Littles
This was at first a purchase that we weren’t sure if our kids would 1. Use it and 2. If it would last. We decided to purchase it as a stocking stuffer and it has been a hit! Our kids love it and it’s fun to go through the photos and see the little world in their eyes with the photos they take throughout the day. Our older kids 4, and 3 use it and it’s very durable. The battery life is great! We haven’t charged it yet and we’ve had it for 4 months almost. They use it a lot.Overall we are beyond pleased with the camera, quality of photos, battery life, brightness, and the easy setup. Definitely worth the money!

Does not Charge --- UPDATED 3/4/25
Below is my original review however since posting this I was contacted by Seckton's customer service and they helped replace my broken one with a new one that charges. My daughters love these cameras. They're a perfect size for toddlers/small children and a lot of fun for them to play with. I will continue to purchase them as gifts knowing if there are any issues this company will work with you to make it right. Thank you!!Old Review:Purchased a blue and a purple one but the blue would not show the red charging color from the beginning. It came fully charged so I thought perhaps it needed to run out of battery to charge but that is not the case. Charging never worked and we are out of return window. The purple will charge fine though.

UPDATED - Faulty Product - Does Not Charge or Work After One Use
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:After posting my initial review, the seller reached out to me directly, offering an immediate resolution. They were incredibly responsive and offered to replace the camera free of charge. I was impressed with how quickly and professionally they handled the situation.Given the price and positive reviews I had seen, I was initially disappointed, but the seller's prompt and helpful customer service has completely turned my experience around. I now feel confident that this was just an isolated issue, and I'm excited to receive the replacement camera.I appreciate the seller's excellent support, and I would definitely recommend giving the product a try, knowing that they stand behind it and are committed to making things right if any problems arise. Great customer service!Thank you Seckton!!I purchased the Seckton Upgrade Kids Selfie Camera in August 2024 from Amazon as a gift for my child. Due to timing, we didn’t start using it until late September, and unfortunately, the product has been a complete disappointment. The main issue is that the camera does not charge. According to the user manual, a red LED light should blink when the camera is charging, but this does not happen on our device. We tried multiple charging cables and outlets to ensure it wasn’t a user error, but nothing worked. After just one use, the camera completely stopped functioning. This is incredibly frustrating, especially since it was intended to be a fun and educational toy for my child.Given the price and positive reviews I initially saw, I expected much better quality and reliability. A product designed for kids should be durable and functional, but this failed on both fronts.I strongly recommend avoiding this camera unless you want to risk wasting your money on a faulty product. I am now in the process of contacting Amazon and the manufacturer for a refund or replacement. Very disappointing!

Surprisingly good kid-proof camera packed with features
This camera turned out better than I hoped. It's a godsend for any parent who is tired of handing their kid their cellphone so they can take pictures.First off, this camera is generic hardware: if you search amazon, you'll see the same electronics (look for the signature pushbutton arrangement) available under a variety of badges with a variety of case styles. They're all the same camera inside. This one (badged under Seckton) was priced about mid-range, but came with a microSD card.Usability: The controls are simple. Once I showed my 4 y.o. how to turn it on, within a couple of minutes he was taking photos, videos, playing games, and discovering features that I hadn't known were there yet.Durability: It's definitely kid-proof. The lens is is plastic, and the glass screen is strong enough that my nephews were able to throw the camera across the room with no obvious harm to the camera.Quality: The picture quality is good enough. Like any camera with a plastic lens, the photos have an artsy "Holga"-esque quality to them. The camera integrates two cameras: one forward-face, and one backwards-facing for selfies. Both work great. The camera also integrates a microphone so you won't lose the audio when your kid starts singing or newscasting into their videos.Features: The camera integrates some primitive games (snake, for example). Enough to make a kid happy their there, but not enough to steal a kid's attention away for more than a few minutes at a time. It also integrates some pretty neat artistic features: colorful frames, sprites (hats, glasses, mustache) that can be superimposed on the image, and a few stranger modes (various color mappings, and some fairly nice "mirror" and "insect eye" distortion modes. The camera also integrates an mp3 player -- byo mp3s.I'm really happy with this product. It's cheap enough that I won't cry when it is inevitably lost or destroyed, but good enough that the kid can take great pictures with it. I periodically steal the phone overnight and raid it for photographic treasures. Some of the photos the kids take are priceless treasure!
