Amazing! I have several of the 2-port and 1-port folding chargers of the same basic design but the inclusion of a 2,000mAh rechargeable battery make a world of difference to its charging performance.When the charger is plugged into a live mains socket it starts to charge the internal battery, if it needs charging. Four pale blue LEDs indicate the state of charge of the battery, which when fully charged extinguish themselves. But in addition to charging the battery, the charger will also power its 2 high current USB ports. What makes this charger different is that it need not be plugged into the mains because the internal battery will power any devices plugged into the USB ports until the battery runs down. With 2,000mAh available it is entirely reasonable to assume the charger will fully charge a small smartphone without having to be plugged into the mains. However, the charger battery has insufficient capacity to do more than top-up my iPad a few tens of percentage points provided it is switched off. I have successfully fully charged an iPad, whilst in use, on battery power alone but it requires a battery with a capacity approaching 30,000mAh. Plug this charger into the mains and my iPad, whilst in use, charges very rapidly.A special feature of the charger is that when it is mains powered with a fully charged battery, devices such as iPhones and iPads, or almost any other USB devices, are charged with the aid of 2 power sources:: mains + battery.If there is a downside to the charger it is the deployment of the Earth pin, which occasionally ‘sticks’ and needs a little help to fully deploy using ones fingers. The charger feels a little brittle so I suggest handling deployment with care.I cannot recommend this charger highly enough. It is a little bulky due to the battery and I feel the case could benefit from being made from a stronger material but this is soon forgotten when the charger is in use. It easily slips into my shoulder pouch along with my iPad and other accessories because there are no nasty protruding/visible 13A mains pins.I have used charger with my iPhone and iPad simultaneously and both devices charge very quickly. There is room for improvement but the basic design is solid.

Great. I don't think there is another product like this available. It's actually even more compact than I was expecting. Just a bit longer than a pack of cards. All works as it should, but I would also point out, as another customer has, that the mechanism for folding the pins in seems a little cheap and flimsy. That said, it works fine and I can;t see anyone on here complaining it broke - so I guess its just a 'feel' issue.

I was looking for folding UK socket dual USB charger with battery. Plastic is a bit flimsy- I also battery life is less than I was expecting. But you can sit you phone on the charger whilst charging- pleased I bought it.

While the concept is great this is not the most well engineered product, it’s a bit of a fiddle to set up and take down. Great backup battery store but could do with a bit more thought

Really nice design but storage of charge really disappointing.

Very natty. Small and compact enough to put in a soft glasses case; added a small cable into the case and it now lives in my handbag ready to use.

Great product could have have a higher capacity battery but great space saver when travelling

Great in so many ways, just not finished well, so looks and feels poor quality for the price point. Shame.
