How do they do it for the money?
As many have said this adapter is beautifully engineered and has a solid no-nonsense feel and weight to it. It has its own plastic clip-lid box. This (together with a Nikon G adapter from the same company) was the second I ordered in two days as I found a M42 lens just after I had ordered the Nikon adapter. They are both superb and literally - if you look at the illustration on the box lid - do what the box says they do. In the case of the older screw in lens attachment takes seconds and the installation is firm and solid.A few words of caution however.Your camera and the lens it has available for it have been designed as a system. Everything is balanced in terms of size and weight - things you considered and appealed to you when you bought it.Adding a lens not designed for your camera will throw all out of balance - literally. In addition lens designed and made decades ago were the best they could be for the price at the time. Their performance was often stellar, sometimes rubbish and usually OK.In some ways these lens can be seen as motor cars from the 1960s.You may admire a classic sports car like an E-type Jaguar or similar. You may have had one at the time and remember how it performed or you may simply want to drive one.But the experience may not be as you remember or imagine. Your beautiful head turning sleek car is probably very uncomfortable by today’s standards. You may not be able to find some where to drive it to the maximum. It may become a ‘Sunny Sunday’ car, only coming out when the weather is perfect and sitting in the garage most of the time.Your old lens may be like that sports car.‘Good glass’ optimised for film cameras from years ago may be unforgiving on a digital sensor. Modern focusing aids like peak focusing may not always work. Your idea of getting a cool looking cheap super telephoto lens by using an adapter on a 2x crop sensor in practice may result in a ‘monster’ you can use only in certain specific, limited circumstances. And as stated at the top of this review your camera may feel heavy and unbalanced - something to consider, especially if you have small hands or arthritis. But if you have read this far and are prepared to accept that you may not get an award winning photo first time - or indeed ever - simply want to experiment and at the same time improve or recapture your photographic skills and not rely on your modern digital camera doing all the thinking, then your camera, this adapter and that lens in the garage or cupboard or drawer will get along fine. And best of all you will have fun and may even surprise yourself.

Fitting Issues
This adapter came well packaged and presented. Overall build quality appeared to be good. The adapter was a secure fit to a Panasonic Lumix. The lens and adapter functioned well in use. However the fit to an Olympus Lens was really tight and this concerned me. I note other reviewers have mentioned this problem. I bought the adapter for its perceived quality over cheaper adapters. I am not confident in frequently fitting and removing the lens from the adapter.

A great simple lens mount adapter
A great simple lens mount adapter. If you're looking for a simple mount adpater, then this will certainly do the job. Build quality is excellent, it feels like a premium product in hand and doesn't look out of place on the camera body.I bought this for my BMPCC enabling me to use my canon glass, and it works perfectly. Obviously this isn't a 'smart' adapter, it won't communicate auto focus or aperture controls to the lens, but this isn't what the adapter is designed for.A great quality & value accessory that I'm getting a huge amount of use out of.

Perfect
It fit perfectly on my new vintage lens, it does not interfere with the lens stopping up or down and it fits very well and rolls softly on my camera. Definitely a good buy.

Excellent secure fitting
Having bought a cheaper version on eBay that didn’t connect properly I gave this one a go as it had good reviews. Completely agree with other reviewers, it provides a secure fitting and is great quality. I’ve gone ahead and bought a second one for a different lens mount which is equally as good. Highly recommend this brand, and the little box is comes in is useful for portability

Bit Stiff getting it on and off my vintage lenses but works well
The Fd to M43 adaptor is well made and comes in a nice box. Fitting to my Lumix G7 was a little stiff but that might be the newness of the Adaptor. I found it even tighter fitting to my vintage lense and for a minute I thought one was stuck but that might be me as it makes a difference in the 'locked or open' position of the adaptor. I did take it out in the garden and took a few shots with two of my lenses. The pictures are all at !00% magnification to show the clarity and colours of these wonderful lenses on a M43 camera with this adaptor.UPDATE> I decided to buy another of these adaptors and take another chance that the first one was a one off. This second one is perfect, it just nicely locks into place on both the lens and camera a Lumix g9 the same when undoing it, perfect. Also I must say that there wasn't a problem returning the first one and I got my refund within a few days.

Payed for itself!
Brilliant product. These adapters will save you a fortune if you have older 35mm kit lying around. I was able to use my old Sigma macro, plus a couple of old Minolta lenses. You lose auto focus abilities, but most micro 4/3 cameras have good focus assist settings. The viewfinder zoom does not appear to function on my EM10 mk ii with this adapter, but the peaking assist works brilliantly. With macro shots I would say it's actually preferable to full AF due to the narrow depth of field.I'm no pro photographer. I just dabble really (it compliments my other hobbies rather than being a hobby in itself for me). I'm sure there are downsides for those who are optically obsessive. That said, I think this would be a welcome addition to most people's kit bag, and I reckon it's saved me about £1500 or more in replacing my more occasionally used lenses.

Excellent product
This is an excellent product, worth the slightly higher price compared to bargain adapters. It is solid and secure, rotating into place with a satisfying click. I can't comment on that auto focus aspect, because I use this adapter only with manual lenses. But in all respects that I'm familiar with, this adapter functions very well.

Mechanically perfect
I bought this Nikon F to M43 adapter to use my collection of Nikkor/Nikon lenses with a Pana GH5.The mechanical fitting on both sides of the interface is perfect. No play, smooth fitting, reassuring click when locked in place. As good as other adaptors costing 4 times as much and they do not even have an aperture control lever.A beautiful, solid and useful piece of equipment.Highly recommended.Keep in mind that this adaptor provides only a mechanical interface between camera and lenses. No optical or electrical components in this device. It is not a speed-boosterOne thing that would make it outstanding would a "declicked" aperture control lever.Does anybody know if it can be declicked?
