#1 Space Saver Knife Block/Knife Holder by BRUMA - Clean & Organized Knives Storage

This is a great knife holder, nice and easy to use, compact and looks really good. Very pleased.

What a great piece of kit, wonderful design, clean and tactile. Good weight to the product and the slim design belies its stability. I didn't buy it for my larger knives, I have however tried it with the really big ones, it will comfortably hold 24cm blades, the 30cm steak knife and carver stick up a bit but these are really large knives, you will see from the photo that it holds eight large knives comfortably and would probably take a few small ones as well. I currently have eight mixed knives in it and I am going to buy another because they take up so little room. It is less than half the size of my Global knife holder and holds as many knives. It looks great in Black and I would recommend it all day long. I have been a professional chef all my working life and this is as good a knife block as I have owned and Great value for money.

Compact yet capacious, this takes up less space than the old (wooden) knife block and holds the 5 knives once stored there as well as 8 more AND kitchen scissors! It is easy to clean, therefore much more hygienic, safer than a drawer and you can see every knife at a glance. A great product.

Excellent product

I received the knife block in August 2017. It is now 01/01/2020. It has a prominent place on my worktop. I love its silky feel, its matt black appearance and its small size that nonetheless accommodates the various sizes and shapes of knives I use every day or not often. I am very glad I chose this product above its competitors for colour, size and sophistication. It will serve me well for a long, long time to come no doubt, because I ensure all knives are clean and dry before inserting them back in the block.Kind regards

Having become very fed up of slashing myself to bits every time I put my hand in the drawer my knives were in, I decided to get a block before I became anemic from blood loss. I liked this one because unlike the usual knife blocks, I could get all of the knives into it instead of being restricted to the few that fit. No more can the cheese knife take a chunk out of me, and the huge chopper that should feature in a slasher flick can no longer lurk in the depths of the drawer waiting to take a tendon or artery out. I also liked that it can be cleaned properly and not gather moldy breadcrumbs inside when unamed parties decide that if it only cut bread or one little bit ham, it doesn't need washing (hence my getting rid of the old block). I wasn't disappointed when it arrived, it holds all of the weapons nicely, I have 8 knives in it, 3 of them large ones and room for more. Only the slasher flick monster knife sticks up a bit as it is a long blade, all of the other standard size ones fit in just fine. Love how easy it is to clean! It looks very smart in the kitchen and the oval design does mean it takes up very little space and is easy to tuck on a shelf or corner of a work surface.Bought two of these now and ordering a third for a present for someone.

Wow, fabulous new way of storing my good knives and this holder can take so many...... I've been looking on and off for years but didn't want the chunky block of wood type in my contemporary style kitchen plus I purchased a new Santoko style knife as a replacement for a broken chef's knife, it is ssooo sharp I was very concerned at it being in a drawer......This knife holder is a smart black slimline ovoid shape so it doesn't take up too much room (if I was to be really picky, I personally would prefer it slightly angled but it's not that much of a problem); the actual knife section is removable for cleaning under a running cold tap, which is a great improvement on the old style blocks..... It is comprised of a packed section of long silicone bristles similar to a silicone pastry brush. You simply insert each knife into whatever position works for you..... I've placed my larger knives near the front edge closer to me and then put the remaining knives in a kindof reducing in size order as they get further away from me...... Including my new Santoko knife, I also got in a variety of large serrated and cake/bread knives and all of my smaller paring and vegetable knives, in total I have 10 knives in my block, which is great I've also gained room in my kitchen drawer. It is really easy to slide each knife back into the holder without fannying around trying to match each one to a particular size slot and the blades are protected by the silicone bristles keeping them keener for longer.
