Good scent. Use a little and it goes a long way. Spread into hair and style as you like. Washes out with shampoo easily. Better for straight and messy/spikey styles. Save yourself money and use this classic product. Wish I had discovered it earlier.

Over the years as my hair has changed from its original colour to a more mature mixture of white, grey and some of the mousy blond of my youth with less volume the need for some sort of control has grown with the passing years the lighter the hair colour the more likely it is to be flyaway.This product gives me the ability to give me some kind of hair style and not just sit on top of my head occupying space, now using this wax as directed by following the clear instructions of the side of the tin: - “place desired amount of DAX Hair Shaper into hands and rub between palms until even”, for my own personal experience I found applying a small amount roughly the size of a pea between my palms and rubbing it until even and slightly warm in freshly washed hair gave the results I was looking for at a reasonable cost.I have used the red, blue and purple versions of this product and found this particular variation for me had the least greasy feel to it with the best control..

Good for a bit of hold and body after washing hair. Slightly better than the BedHead one for hold and smell imo.

Unless DAX have changed the production process and packaging I think I may have received a fake product. Firstly, I was expecting a metal container like I've previously purchased (offline) and as was pictured on Amazon. This wouldn't have bothered me but it seems the hair product itself is quite different to what I was expecting. The product I received was a relatively liquidy, cream like substance in texture, like a traditional Brylcreem. When I've bought this type of DAX before it's been a more fibrous, gum type of product. Please see attached pictures for a comparison between my old product and the one I received, there's no comparison of the actual 'hair product' because I had used all of my old one. 3 stars because I can't be totally sure that DAX haven't changed the production process for this product, I'm not going to use it though.

I have been using this for years but this is short in the market, but I found it on Amazon and I am thrilled to receive it. This is the best hair wax u can ever find, suggested by a hairdresser who used to work for Tony&guy and now she is working on her own (and very successful).
