Title says it all. This is a mistake by Amazon. Little ribs on speaker metal are not the same as original.

Yeah I didn't realize there was a notch
There's a notch at the connection likely to keep it in place witg a very specific headset. I was thinking this was a mic I could pluck into anything with a jack so yeah this thing is kinda useless for me. Maybe if you're a specific use case this will work for you but it didn't for me.
