I have had 3 Kenwood stick blenders (400W) fail in a year. very disappointing as I am a Kenwood fan.Then I found this blender and it's amazing by comparison.I use it daily, sometimes twice a day to blend food for my disabled son - great results and quick as a bigger motor (twice the power)It feels very solid and sturdyAttachment clicks on reassuringly to lock in positionIt is heavier so doesn't "buck" at higher speedsIt has variable speeds and "turbo"Blends a big pan of soup in secondsDoesn't splatter as muchQuieter than my previous onesvery smooth resultI am really happy with this blender so far - time will tell whether it can stand the pace!Tte only minor gripe is that a few fibres can get stuck in the holes at the end of the blender after the first blend.I have to wash the end to get rid of these before continuing to blend so that they are not a choke hazard for my son who needs completely smooth food.

Love it. Easy to set up ,easy to clean, not noisy ,beautiful modern design, very powerful mullers ice in 20 seconds can run it for more then a minute. Dose not get hot. It has variable speeds smoothly done. Holds nice. Not heavy like some reviews say. Comes with extras to and a huge beaker. Price very good considering it was £100- when it first came out on the market. Knowing what I do I would have paid more than the £30- I did. Worth every penny I’m using it 3/4 times a day had it for a few weeks and doing great can’t fault it. Highly recommended big time.Disliked the scratches on the beaker from the blender shame but I don’t care I love it. Well done

the Hand Blender has been working very well for the past month: I use it to make my protein shake every day - with frozen fruit and ice cubes. It's quieter than a blender - which is awesome.The food processor attachment is a bit disappointing: it's too small and feels cheap - so it makes me feel like a student when I use it :-/

I bought this blender 3 1/2 months ago and used it almost daily to make homemade frappes, which involves blending slightly melted coffee ice cubes. And some days I would also use it for other things as well. In other words, I used it pretty hard and it did the job well until yesterday when it broke mid-use. The shaft that's inside the handle base that turns the different blades and attachments just totally shredded. Apparently, it's made of plastic and all of my use just was too much.I wasn't too happy since I had researched hand blenders before buying this one and this one had seemed to be the most reliable for lots of use and for blending things like ice cubes. And it's not exactly cheap either!So I contacted the manufacturer and long story short, they had me contact Amazon and a 1/2 hour phone call later with Amazon (in which they also connected me to the manufacturer as well), I was offered a full refund for the product. Impressive customer service!The only downside is, the blender now costs about 16 pounds more than when I originally purchased it. So if I want to buy it again, I need to pay more.

Sadly I have had to dispose of this tool after only 2 and half years of extremely light use (I live alone) adding to the huge electrical waste mountain we are creating. Indeed some of the tools I have never used. And I paid £48.30, thinking I was paying for superior quality! The plastic spindle of the motor unit has shredded and will not turn any of the tools. It seems to be a poor design, and even if it were still under warranty I would not want a replacement of this model. I would have given no stars if that were an option.

This is a great tool to have in the kitchen. I use it to wizz up my own hummus, soups. The whisk attachment is good for cake making. Only use the potato masher once, but it worked well. Mine recently broke when I was trying to chop dates and cashew nuts so was disappointed as they weren't that hard and I hadn't had it too long - plus it was quite pricey. I emailed Igenix to see if I could buy a new motor and stick blender attachment as there was nothing wrong with the other attachments and they said they had the parts in stock for a reasonable £9.99. However, while in communication with Igenix, they checked the model and batch number and told me it was still within warranty, even though I had not registered my purchase for warranty purposes. They sent me a brand new one (without the duplicate attachments) very quickly and were so helpful and curteous. I am back in business in the kitchen and very happy. Great customer service.

This is a well build tool however, after just one use in soup making, the stainless steel blender has caused severe scratching to my pan that means I find this product very disappointing. I have also used the chopper and in this regard, the motor is so powerful it is difficult to make it chop anything other than 'very fine' and therefore not suitable for some recipes where a more coarse finish is needed.

Love this blender! It's easy to use, powerful and handy for everyday home cooking. Have had it for a few months now and can appreciate how sturdy it feels.Plus I love the fact that the blender insert is made of metal instead of plastic, makes a difference when using it to quickly blend soups, sauces and such.A real steal for the price, would 100% recommend!
