Heavy duty Even heat distribution
This pan is heavy duty! I made our first batch of Paella last night and the food turned our perfect. The carbon steel was thick and distributed the heat well. I have had other pans unfortunately, made in China, that were thin and the rice easily burned. This is an authentic Paella pan from Spain.

Item not as advertised
The paella pan is advertised as polish steel yet, the one I received is Enameled steel . Worst of all instructions on pan clearly state that pan should only be use in an open flame source. As luck would have it my stove is electric.
