Even for the price this is not a good buy. Bought it for my 6 year old daughter to peer at things through, as she really wanted a telescope. The magnification factor is poor - a half decent set of binoculars is better, and the view is blurred unless you get it 'just so', the eyepiece is hard to see through, especially for a youngster and the field of view is pathetic. All in all, I wish I hadn't bothered. Do yourself a favour, add a few quid to the budget and avoid this shoddy offering altogether, is my advice.

Just received this scope . It's not as big as I thought it was going to be . Any smaller and you might have found one in a M&S expensive Christmas cracker . I'm not even sure it's what I ordered as the reviews seem different . Its definitely not worth the £19 odd pound . If the p&p was free then I would say yes a good buy . Having said all that I'm going to keep it . As i can't be doing with the fuss of sending it back

I am unable to review this item thoroughly as it was a gift. From what I heard it seems lovely and okay but they are still to view any stars with it. Hence only given 3 stars

Ok but not very easy to adjust either for a 3 year old or an adult.

I didn't realise just how small this telescope would be! I think the tripod it stands on is better quality than the telescope itself. It broke almost as soon as it was built, but this is just a reflection of how cheap and flimsy it is. It feels like something you'd see in Poundland.

Perfect my son loves it

So far so good! Set up fine and working. My six year old grandson - in another country - thinks it's 'cool'. Good result.

Quite hard to focus and use.
