Love my battery-operated salt/pepper grinders! They look classy and don’t look cheap. Love that I can adjust the coarseness of the grind. I have arthritis and my hands are happy to only have to press a button to grind my salt and pepper! Requires 6 AAA batteries and the batteries are a little clumsy to put in the first time. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because of the number of batteries (6 seems like a lot) and the fumbling it takes to insert them. Having said that, I would purchase these again and wouldn’t hesitate buying them as a gift.

What I hated about this product was the need for 6 AAA batteries in each one, just to get going. I returned it and we have gone back to just using our old set which has the same issue.

One of the two worked, but the other stopped grinding after a few seconds and could only be restarted by dissembling the device and twisting and manipulating the contacts. Items returned for refund. Each one required 6 AAA batteries.

These are very nice battery powered spice mills.They work like they are supposed to and are very quiet in operation and seem to have plenty of power. The LED light in the bottom makes it easy to see how much product is dispensed. The only gripe I have is that the batteries were difficult to install because they fit so tightly. Over all I am very pleased with my purchase.

I had some difficulty using these with natural hand mined salt as the salt would clump up. Leaving the salt to dry helped.

It worked fine for a while but then the salt grinder stopped working. Not sure how long the other one will last.

The directions on the box state "2. To maintain the salt and pepper mills it is not suitable for storage, after each use clean." Are you kidding me? Would never purchased these if this was included in the item description! Downside of online purchase.
