Karlsson Clock, Steel frame, glass, Bamboo, 37 x 17,5 x 9 cm

I seriously love this clock. It looks great, it sounds great, it feels great. The changing of the hour gives a nicely satisfying “thunk”.The only downside really, is that setting it initially is a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise, what’s not to love?

I saw this clock in a trendy gift shop in York and caught it my eye as it was right in the window display. My husband loved it too, thinking it would be overpriced we didn't investigate. On returning home browsed Amazon and guess what there it was at an amazing price. Bought it as an extra Christmas present and it looks great on our book shelves.

I bought this clock because it was something out of the ordinary and was appropriate as it sits on a bookshelf in my home office. It is colourful and quirky which I like. So far it seems to keep reasonable time, but time will tell (sorry!).It is, however made out of cardboard with a very basic clock mechanism module glued inside. The case is quite flimsy with a cheap cardboard closure panel on the rear. Pushing the battery into the mechanism distorts the case to the point where it feels like it is going to break or at least crease the cardboard. I'm not expecting it to last longer than 3 or 4 battery changes.Looks good at the moment.

Pretty clock that keeps good time and looks great in my study. Back is a bit flimsy - just a sheet of cardboard, and there are no fixings for the wall so it is best left freestanding. I do like it though. Warning - it does tick, so don't expect silence!

was easy to setup, said in instructions had to set a minute ahead to make it work. no problems so far

Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this clock. For the price I thought this would be a high end well engineered product.Straight out of the box I noticed a large white stain on top of the bamboo casing. This did not bode well for a product that I thought would be a stylish addition to my kitchen. Then, when setting up (as per the manufacturer's instructions) I noticed that the flip cards on the clock face were starting to stick when I was setting the time. I thought maybe this issue would resolve itself once the clock ran through a normal cycle. How wrong was I! The flips get stuck at regular intervals during the cycle. I am returning this clock. Again, extremely dissatisfied with quality of this clock. Hope someone from Karlsson will read this review.

Love this, looks great but bear in mind that the 'red' book is actually bright orange, nothing like the picture. It is very light and the back comes off easily but it's not a problem.

Excellent, they fit in our bookshelf very well, we know where to look but not obvious to guests, they like it once pointed out.
