BaByliss 2100 W Salon Light Hair Dryer

I love this. Finally I have a lightweight, powerful hairdryer with a long flex and a cool setting that is actually cool. It's very simple to use and does a fantastic job of drying my hair quickly without toasting it. Best hairdryer I've ever owned, and superb value. I stayed with my cousin a few weeks ago and used her Dyson hairdryer. It was nice, but didn't feel significantly better than mine (maybe it has some other invisible benefits, I don't know...) Anyway, for the difference in price I'd take this one any day.

I did plenty of research before buying my wife this item and we weren’t disappointed. This item uses a ceramic ring heater rather than a metal wire heater so it’s better for your hair and safer. The three settings of cool, warm and hot are great and the two speeds mean you can be more gentle with your styling if required. Sturdy item with a nice long salon-type cable so will easily allow you to use your item in any room where the socket is just a little too far from the mirror.

I'm the only bloke in our house so I'm allowed to 'borrow' this. It blows our old Babyliss dryer out of sight. The overall performance is very good, as where I had to use the maximum blow setting on the old model, I now only use the lowest setting and it easily outperforms it. The lowest heat setting is practically cold, so very gentle on the hair. I have a short-back-and-sides-but-longer-on-top style, and it's dry in half the time with the second heat setting. I used to have to use a extension lead with the old dryer but the lead on this model is around 300cm, so perfect for me. It is quite heavy and a little cumbersome to use, so I can imagine it being a bit of a challenge for some of the ladies out there, but if you can overcome that, then the performance should win you over.

I really like this Hairdryer!It's stylish salon standard quality without the price tag.It's quick to dry your hair and has a very long 3m power cord which is another added bonus.I couldn't be more happy and I'm so glad I brought it.A definite 5 star product.

The media could not be loaded. this product is great. the hair dryer has 3 heat and 2 speed settings. the attachment for the hair dryer stays on very nicely and will not fall off. the plug for the hair dryer is very small and is a struggle to grab out of the socket but with a little wiggle and good grip strength it’s fine. my hair is rather thick and i can dry it within 15mins using this hair dryer which is pretty good

This might be considered light for a professional hairdryer, but it’s slightly heavier than my similarly-sized Tresemmé dryer, which I did find heavy at first. I’m used to it now, so should find the weight of this one OK.I like the 3 heat settings, so you can have it on cool without having to keep your finger on the cool shot button, but the other options are warm or very hot! I suppose you need to dry off your hair with the warm setting, then style sections with a blast of heat followed by a blast of cold. Can’t award 5 stars until I see how I get on!They must have confidence in this dryer, though, as it has a 5 year guarantee and no dryer of mine has ever lasted that long with daily use! Suggests that it is a quality product.Updating my review after getting used to this dryer and now awarding that fifth star. Be warned - it is noisy on full blast - but I love the smooth results and I find it very easy to handle and switch between the various settings … and yes I have used the high heat full power option and it’s fine.

Nice long lead. Hair product spilt on finish spoilt the look. Works well. Powerful.

This is a great hairdryer for the price. It dries fast and is not too heavy. I use mainly on the lower speed as otherwise it really is too much to blow dry my hair. Looks fab in red too.
